There are two kinds of morning people in the world.

The first one- Who wakes up at the first time their alarm goes off.

The second kind- Who hit the snooze button several thousand times before mustering up a little will to finally wake up.

With a heavy heart I announce that I don't fit in either of those categories.

I'm a person who believes that alarm clocks are nothing but a myth. Sometimes I wonder who was that cruel person who invented the alarm clock?

Worst invention ever!

I have mad respect for people who find mornings cheery and enjoyable and all the synonyms of happy.

People who wake up in the morning on their own without any struggle or making any fuss deserve to be awarded for their brave act. Like how do you guys even find the will to get out of the comforts of your bed? How do you actually convince your body to move?

All of the above nonsense was just to elucidate that I'm not a morning person. I'm barely considered as a person in the mornings. I don't even start to become an actual person until after the afternoon.

And since I don't believe the myth of alarm clocks the universe had made it its mission to hit me up with my very own live alarm clocks. Three alarm clocks if I'm being exact.

And every morning they get their job done very skillfully.

Nothing feels as good as waking up to the voices of my dear siblings fighting over who gets to use the bathroom first. Each morning, I get to wake up to the sound of their pleasant and over-the-top shouting.

Isn't that the best way to wake up!!

I've got three younger siblings. Triplets to be exact. Jake, Natelie and Lily. They'll be turning eight in the next month. They are cute as hell but can drive one up the wall.

Mum's been on morning shift this past week. She works as a nurse at the local hospital. So, as she had an early shift today too, it was up to me to get my siblings ready for school. Which isn't that hard now since I'm kinda used to doing it.

What's a difficult task though? Cooking them breakfast, because they are very picky with their food. Like Lily can't eat crusts and the other two won't eat a sandwich if I cut out the crust. Or like how Natalie likes the sandwich cut in triangular shape but the other two not a big fan of triangle. And making them eat the breakfast without starting World War 3 is a whole another level of battle.

Another hard chore of this morning was forcing them into presentable clothes. They kept insisting on wearing pajamas to school. While I had no problem letting them wear pjs to school, I know for sure, if I had let them, mum wouldn't have wasted any time before tearing me a new one.

So, by the time I was packing their lunch and rushing them out of the house, I felt like dying from inside.

God knows how my mum manages to do this every single day!
