She could see something white and fluffy hidden in the grass, Amaris approached it carefully, so as to not scare it away.

Now that she was closer, she could see two pointy white ears, and shiny bright red eyes looking up at her.

İt was a cute white rabbit, one that looked calm, its fur glistening from the light of the moon . Amaris gently reached out her hand to the rabbit, letting it caress her hand.

She then started petting it, her hands stroking the soft fur, the animal looked adorable to her.

"Amaris" her hands stopped moving as her own name rang in her ears.

"Amaris" The name coming from the unknown voice, sounded harsh and strict, freezing her into place.

She turned to look back, yet no one was there.

"Amaris!" she immediately stood up, as though she was in trouble.

"Amaris!"

The last call of her name made her open her eyes, she jolted awake.

"Amaris, i would like to remind you that this is not the right time to take a nap" her teacher scolded.

"I'm sorry" Amaris apologized quietly as she rubbed her tired eyes.

The teacher went back to her lesson, Amaris forgot that she was in a front row seat for Ms. Morrison's class instead of seating in the back like in most classes.

The girl usually either slept or doodled in her notebook, however she would refrain from sleeping in Ms. Morrison's class since it would be easier to get caught due to the position of her seat.

Amaris couldn't help it, she had barely slept last night and her teacher's lesson was incredibly boring to her.

The girl blew a strand of her black hair away and continued to take notes, with some doodles in between.

Amaris stared at herself in the bathroom mirror, her black hair looked disheveled and no matter how much concealer she used, her eye bags would never go away.

İt was just a sad truth she had to face, the fact she will always stay awake in the night, no matter how hard she tried to sleep. The girl felt as though her eye bags were a reminder of what she suffered through every night, the bad thoughts she held that came out when she needed to sleep the most, The memories she wanted to forget coming back to her brain, it was all too much. She just wanted to rest, even for a little bit.

Suddenly, she heard the sound of something falling, looking down she saw a pencil, perhaps one used for makeup, rolling toward her combat boots.

She picked the pencil up.

That was when she heard a sudden "thank you"

Amaris, in her trance, had forgotten that someone else was next to her. A girl named Red, a quite popular girl at school.

Red was doing her makeup next to Amaris, paying her no mind until she had dropped her eyeliner pencil.

Amaris gave said pencil to the red haired girl, Red accepting it.

"Thanks, uh…" Red stopped her words, as though she had forgotten something.

Amaris knew what that "something" was, it was Amaris's name, even though she had lived in South Park for a year already, most teens at her school didn't pay much attention to her, some not even bothering to remember her name, opting to call her "New girl" instead. Cartman and some others referred to her as "emo girl" as well, even though she wasn't part of that subculture.
