Baani's POV

I freshen up and wear a kurta. It's 6 in the morning and I am feeling hungry. I come out of the room and get into the kitchen. I saw there was nothing to make even tea...We seriously need to go for groceries shopping.

I can't call Om as he must be sleeping. I strolled to the living room and saw some packets and there is A sticky note as well. I read the sticky note 'Some basic things for the kitchen, sorry couldn't arrange much"

I Open the brown packet and smile. There is bread, Butter, Jam, Milk, Sugar, Tea packet, Eggs and my Favourite Thandai Powder. I like to Drink cold milk after mixing this powder.

Thank God it's Om or else I don't know how my situation would have been. He knows me well..sometimes so well.

I make breakfast for myself and by the time it is 7. I will make Breakfast for him when he is awake.

I open my phone and look at the folder, My hands are shaking to even open it. I close my phone and keep it aside. I take a deep breath.

Om opens his room door and I get up, He is yawning and rubbing his eyes. He is wearing a Vest and A Pajama, He has muscular yet lean arms.

"Umm, good morning Om," I say and he gaze at me.

He immediately closes his mouth "Oh um good morning" He smiles awkwardly

"You freshen up I will make breakfast for you"

He immediately says "No" I halt "I mean No need to bother"

"Om Please...I want to, I have nothing to do so I just want to distract myself as well"

He said nothing for some time but finally nodded "I will be back some time"

I smile "Sure"

I make breakfast for him, Egg Omelette with Bread and Tea..which he dies for. I remember How every time we used to debate On how our Favourite Morning drinks were best and Then I used to shut him up by saying that being a Doctor you drink tea even if knowing it's not so good and then he used to counter me by saying that Thadai comes in package food which is more harmful than Tea.

I smile remembering our debate. I sigh and make tea for him.

I place the food on the Table and he also comes back freshening up.

"You will not have breakfast?" He asks

I sit on the chair opposite him "No, I already had it"

He nods and looks at my face "Your face looks dull and your eyes puffy"

"Oh. Woh I couldn't sleep all night that's why"

He just stares at me and licks his lips looking down "Baani I know...I know the situation between us has become awkward so no need to hide it, also you have been through something very drastic so being emotional and hurt...is all okay, It will take time"

I nod and Look down at my hands, Playing with the bangles "Om"

"Yeah" He sips his tea

"Can we stay like friends? This sudden relationship...it's not going well, I am"

"Uncomfortable?"
