She was going to focus mainly on 4 things: Speed, strength, durability and endurance.

"How long do I have before the first sparring session?"she asked the woman."You have about 5 and a half months left."the woman replied.

She was now more determined. She would train till failure, until her body said no, until she threw up. She would wake up, change, head to the training room and start working out. She'd do pull ups till failure and get up to do something else as recovery. She started stretching. Everyday if she couldn't do anything anymore, if she was exhausted she would start stretching. This helped her become very flexible even though the process was extremely painful and very slow.

Every time she went back to her room she'd punch the walls till her knuckles were red and raw. This was her way of testing her endurance. After doing this her knuckles were almost shattered. During lunch time -the only time she got to eat- she would struggle using the utensils. The agents around her would laugh at her, make jokes about her bloodied knuckles. They laughed about how her hands would shake everytime she tried using the utensils, that eventually she just started using her bare hands to eat.

Everyday she does cardio and weightlifting. After she does weighted squats and lunges, she runs until she collapses. When she bench presses, she starts doing push ups, or planks and pull ups. She wanted to make her core strong.

With this harsh routine her body slowly gets accustomed to it. The first 2 weeks everything hurts, but after that it all becomes easier. When she punches the walls her knuckles still bleed but she no longer feels the unbearable pain, well it's still there she just learned how to numb it down. ' This is just the beginning.' she thought to herself as she fell asleep.

1 Month later

She's in her room after a whole day of training. She has very toned abs, visibly strong legs and toned biceps and triceps. She starts doing push ups and then she lifts herself into a handstand and does a front walkover, walks over to her bed and sits on it. She stares at her hands intently. She slowly applies pressure on her thumb, pushes down and she dislocates her thumb..."Ahh!" she yelps and cries softly and places it back in its original position and does the same with her other thumb.

She is trying to stretch and train her ligaments in case something gets dislocated during sparring. This is also very painful because the next limbs to dislocate are her shoulders, thankfully it's very easy to pop it back into place.

2 Months later

She goes to her caretaker's office. She knocks on the door...'knock-knock'. "Come in." The woman answers. Talia walks in. "What are you doing here?" the woman asks her. "Agent Philips? I never would've thought that's your name." She shrugged after seeing her caretaker's name plate. "You are not supposed to know that, what do you want?" The woman sighs. "I need scissors and a razor." Talia requested

"Yeah, that is not happening." The woman replied sternly, "Why not?" Talia whined,"Can you please at least get me scissors." "What do you want to do with scissors?" The woman asked."You know what, here take them and get out of here and don't get caught with them. You better return it" the woman warned her, handing Talia the scissors. "You're not going to regret it 'Phil'." She said to the woman as she gave her a nickname, Phil.

She went back to her room and stood in front of the mirror. She took a deep breath knowing after this there's no going back. She takes a small strand of her dark brown wavey hair, picks up the scissors and she cuts her hair off. She cuts her long beautiful hair into a short above shoulder style. And it's very uneven. 'New hair new beginnings I guess.' she thought to herself. She doesn't return the scissors to Phil

In commander Philips' office.

"The girl you recruited commander, is quite extraordinary. She is very special." Dr. Zola stated. "How so?" Phil a questioned. "Her DNA, her genes have a sort of mutation." He said impressed. "Mutation? As in cancer?" Phil asked concerned. "No commander, not cancer but something we've never seen before, something otherworldly." He stated

Three months in, two and a half months left till her first sparring session. Today is the day she finally starts combat training and weaponry training.

"So today's the day I finally learn how to use weapons!" Talia squeaked but then Phil reminds her,"Not just yet, you have to beat me first, in sparring." "Come on!" Talia whined.

Thankfully Talia is a fast learner and could at least defend herself, but her attacks we're not so good.

While sparring with Phil she fails to block a punch. "Phil, there's something wrong." She said concerned, blood slowly dripping from her nose."Yeah, you got hit." Phil replies proudly. "No, Phil. I feel a bit lightheade-...it goes dark and she collapses on the floor with a hard thud.

Phil picks her unconscious body up and rushes to Dr. Zola's office

"Something's wrong, fix it!" She said sternly at Zola. Zola doesn't waste any time he checks Talia's eyes with a light and they are not reacting to it but her her pupils are blown. They keep expanding and contracting, till finally they were fully dilated. Zola laughs as soon as he realises what's happening. "Beruhige dich commander, the chip just finally started to work. She is now officially Hydra-property." He said calmly.

Her eyes flutter open, everything is way too bright."Great you're up. Get dressed and get ready for training." Phil says. She gets dressed and goes to the training room and finds Phil already waiting for her. They begin training.

Something changed inside her.

She blocks every attack swiftly and she attacks just as fast, something she hasn't even learnt yet. Phil throws a quick jab and Talia blocks it while bringing her legs to Phil's neck and she flips them over, and she gets Phil in an arm lock. Phil tells her " Remember no mercy!" She said struggling to get out of the arm lock. Phil tries punching her thighs to get Talia to let go but she doesn't budge until... 'Crack' Phil screams and Talia quickly lets go of her " Are you okay?" She asked. "No! When did you learn that? Bloody hell!" Phil winced in pain. "Here let me help." Talia offers and pops Phil's shoulder back in it's socket and she yelps.

A week later.

" Who would've thought you'd be able to beat in less than a month." Phil says to Talia proudly. "Are we doing what think we're doing?" She asked excited. "Pick your favourite." Phil said as she showed her a display of various types of weapons. "You are going to learn how to use every single one." Phil told her.

"This is going to be fun."
