Anger, hurt and disappointment. Three worst things put together that took away the world from her, Swara Sanskar Maheshwari never in her wildest dreams thought that her husband could say their relationship was over. Her life has never been completely fine, it's always a little more effort and everything was going to be fine. And she kept doing that for god knows forever.

Her maa asked her to break her husband's promise, told that it was for the betterment of the family, convinced her that it was just his anger and not hatred for his family. Swara believed that once the family gets together, he was going to be the first person to be happy but what she failed to realize was that she was his only family.

The only relation that she thought was permanent ended with a phone call, she waited for a week, watched the family crumbling, watched her relations crumbling, just when she thought that her life was finally fine from 'little more effort' it changed to worst. Anger, hurt and disappointment clouded her senses as she screamed the words she wish she never did and walked out of her husband's life.

He called her every night, told her she would bear the worst punishment. She heard him every night silently, his complaint, anger, pain were thrown on her and she took all of them. Guilt to push him in that position haunted her, as months passed by, life kept getting miserable. Every night Swara wondered, was he still hers? How could she take back the damage she caused? Will her life be fine ever again?

6 months later, she helped her husband to disclose the truth of Laksh who apparently claimed himself to be Abhimanyu Khanna. As they got closer to finding the truth, she knew the closer she was getting to get her life more miserable. She knew her husband, remembered his every word that he spitted with hatred to her every night, she knew he was going to punish her, ruthlessly!

One fine day, finally the truth was out. Ragini and Laksh adopted Mishka and was all set to begin their new journey. After clearing the case in the police station, everyone happily returned to Maheshwari mansion, no one asked Swara and Sanskar where they were going and believed that they were coming to Maheshwari mansion.

Swara stayed silent realizing Sanskar was driving to baadi. Was it the end? No amount of sorry could fix their relation, she didn't know what to say. The car stopped in front of baadi, no words exchanged. Swara held her breathe, wouldn't there be even a good bye? After what seemed like eternity, he said,

"Bye"

She blinked her eyes, is it fair to ask a chance?

"You are smart to know that we could never be together anymore".

He spoke and she gulped her tears, she knew she deserved it. "Forgive me if you can". She said and got out of the car, Sanskar looked at her walking inside the baadi and drove back to his house that was no longer a home since his wife left him.

He slipped into his room hiding from the joyous faces of his family with a file in his hand. He locked the doors of his room, and sat on the bed opening the file. It had both his and Swara signatures. They just signed it outside the police station for Laksh's case as part of formalities. Of course the first page was related to Laksh's case, Sanskar turned the next page and saw that they were divorce papers of him and his wife.

Nope, his ex-wife!

Sanskar betrayed his own wife to get her signatures on divorce papers.

He lay back on his bed. If someone told him 6 months ago that he would betray his Swara, he would have laughed at them but nobody realizes that he is actually a devil. A devil that stayed calm only because he had his angel. If she thought she could take his heart, crush it mercilessly and walk away from him easily then she was wrong.

He looked at her signatures, time to take the perfect revenge, he knew Swara gave up on him the minute she asked for his forgiveness but this wasn't done. He knew his angel way too much, she would believe she doesn't deserve him and just live her life.

"Let me give you a new mission princess! I know how much you love them and I also know how much you hate it when you lose in your mission".

Next Day

Swara felt the ground beneath her being snatched when she came to know that Sanskar was getting married to some random new girl called Naina. She looked at her maa as if she had gone mad. And she doesn't really remember how she got the courage to drive up to Maheshwari mansion. The mansion was decorated with flowers and lights, what the hell!

She walked inside the home and saw the entire family on one side and Sanskar on the other side. Swara slowly descended the stairs, everyone looked at her.

Sanskar watched his ex-wife walking up to him. "How could you do it?" "Why would you do this?" he had thought about all the possible questions.

"Is this your punishment?"

Sanskar couldn't hide his proud smirk hearing her, she was just too intelligent, wasn't she?

"You can assume what you would like to Swara, but I am going to get married for myself and not to hurt you".

He hated the way tears rolled down her eyes, he hated that it affected him. He kept looking at her trying hard to hold herself, he knew it broke her. "We are still married!" she said trying to hide her every pain and anger. Sanskar sighed hearing it. These were one of the times he was thankful that his wife was too smart and always came straight to the point without being weak.

"You can't say it after sending me divorce notice!"

He heard gasps from his family but kept his gaze on her who was looking at him confused. "Sanskar?" she said trying to understand his words. "You sent me divorce papers Swara, you had even signed them. I signed the papers and submitted them. Now we are officially divorced!"

She nodded her head in a no gasping, hearing the horrible accusations hurled on her.

Sujata screamed angrily, there was a commotion going around and Ragini and Laksh were trying to convince them that it must be a misunderstanding. Sanskar paid no attention to them and only looked at Swara looking at him shockingly.

"No Sanskar. I didn't, trust me.."

"Trust?"

He asked sarcastically interrupting her. "I never sent you divorce papers!" She said ignoring his sarcasm.

Sanskar looked at her, she was crying, she could collapse any time, her eyes screamed him to believe her and the desperation in her eyes killed him. Why did it have to hurt him more than it did her?

"Then prove it!" he said casually assigning a mission to his love, a one which she could never win. Because she could doubt the entire world for betraying her with signatures but not her Sanskar who was now officially her ex-husband.

To be continued..
