The day went by quickly, Swara kept irritating Sanskar but he remained quiet. He knew this would pass by, this was just her mission to get his forgiveness but the confusing part was she didn't say any sorry, she didn't say she wants him back, she was just irritating him with her cuteness and Sanskar could only worry on what she was planning.
It was night, Swara pushed him on the bed before he could go the couch and quickly climbed to the bed and hugged him. He sighed heavily as she switched off the lights and closed her eyes. She hugged him tightly and closed her eyes, she was going to sleep peacefully after months! "Hold me Sanskar", she whispered and held on to him smilingly.
He hugged her and said, "I will do whatever you say so that you will let me go after one week". It took the smile away from her face but she continued to hold him tightly. She knew it was going to be difficult, but still it hurt her. She felt his hands on her back but it didn't feel like before, they were so stiff, there was no ease. He was doing it so reluctantly and she suddenly didn't want it anymore. Maybe she was forcing him too much and should take it slow. She broke the hug and lied on the other side of the bed quietly.
He looked at her, she was facing back towards him, he knew she was crying. He turned away with tears and they both couldn't sleep the entire night.
----
It was the second day, Sanskar opened his eyes and looked at the other side of the bed to see it empty. Six more days and he should be fine.
She brought him his morning tea, she was smiling, giggling, teasing him as if she didn't cry the whole night. Her wet hairs enriching her morning beauty and he silently sipped the tea as she continued to tell him her plans of her entire day, he paid no attention to them and was only looking at her face.
How is she so happy when she was sobbing beside him the entire night? And what is with this acting of being suddenly so happy and bubbly? Shouldn't she be explaining him why she left six months ago, any promises to not leave him again which she would definitely break in the future. But he couldn't understand anything.
But his eyes filled having their morning routine back, tea from her hands, clothes she choose, her fragrance in the room. Only the romance was missing but these things were aching his heart, why was she doing this to him?
Sanskar thought as he sat on the dining table, Swara arranged the dishes and then once again went inside the kitchen. He got confused, did she make more food?
"Sanskar"
He immediately got up and ran to the kitchen as she called him because if she calls one more time then she will ask for kiss.
"What is it?" he asked standing in front of her.
She raised her hands towards him, "take me to dining table!" he looked at her sternly and silently picked her up. Oh its been months since he picked her up! She felt so light, as always!
He came near the dining table, "Arey! I forgot to bring water, take me back to kitchen". She ordered him, he narrowed his eyes and took her back inside. She took the jug, "Take the glasses too", he said knowing she would ask him to come to kitchen again.
She pouted as he caught her plan, she took the glasses. He carried her back to dining table, she served food for both of them in one plate, she started feeding him and also took few bites for herself. He tried hard to control his tears and had his breakfast silently.
After their breakfast, Swara dragged him to the couch. They watched a film together with her snuggling to him. It was so hard for Sanskar, he watched the entire film absentmindedly, her fragrance, the way she held him, the way she kept hands on his eyes when there was an item song, everything felt like a dream. He wanted to hold her back, his heart craved to tease her, to kiss her but he knew all of this will pass. All of this must be some mission.
