Humans are scummy creatures.
No….
they were more than that.
They were evil.
disgusting.
vile.
untrustworthy.
selfish.
And most importantly… Cruel.
They will do the most unspeakable things when they are given the chance. The youngest of the seven snorted as her eyes wandered through nothingness. She was stuck. Stuck in a place devoid of anything. No color, no sound, no anything.
It was a simple expansion of darkness that had no limit. As if the canvas known as reality was wiped, leaving only a blank space behind. The only sound that seemed to echo through were her voice and those of her siblings. All staying silent, gazing into the abyss they woke up in.
She clicked her tongue as her tail swayed in a restless manner. When was the last time she saw anything but emptiness? Was it when that human tried to cross the borders between mortality and the divine? Trying to forcefully climb up the ranks into the realms of the gods? The more she thought about it the more disgusted she felt.

Abandoning her spot, the young serpent wrapped her body around the flames. Feeling the heat radiate on her scales. The spearhead snuggled closer. Hoping to bring some comfort.
The trembling slowly stopped and turned into a peaceful slumber. Funny, for most parts the roles were reversed. When she had nightmares of that time. The flames would envelope her in a warm embrace. Like she was sunbathing on a beautiful summer day.
She really was like the sun.
“She's having those pointless dreams again?”
The spearhead turned to the voice as beautiful as silver bells. One she would rather not hear at the moment.
“What do you want four eyes.”
“was simply asking, she became more restless ever since we had a chance to breathe.”
“Wow, how perceptive of you, guess you really are all seeing with that eyes of yours.”
He gave a chuckle “no need to be so sarcastic. I didn't mean to brag, just pointing out…..But.” if a being like him could change facial expression, he would have on demanding a serious conversation. “If she doesn't do something about it. We have to take some…extreme measures.”
