It's around 2:30pm and Aoom has yet to text Meena back. She regrets not staying over, but she knows it was the best for the both of them. Like they've discussed many times prior, their career first so that regardless what happens, they both will have a better future.
They often had intimate discussions about their past during their sleepovers. Ice would always fall asleep first whenever she stayed over. Meena was notorious for using up Aoom's toothpaste, so Aoom always made sure she had a stock in her bathroom closet. They enjoyed opening fan mail and gifts, and would often play fight on who can keep what. On the other hand, Ice was never amused for she had to pick up the mess.
The time was now 6:45pm and Aoom still hasn't texted Meena back. Meena started getting irritable, but managed to keep herself busy with Brooklyn and a phone call from her Mom.
Finally at 7:46pm Aoom gets back with her with an unexpected text.
Aoom
" Kohthod...don't be mad ka...we got stopped by Char's fans. They bombarded her with gifts, and congratulations for her and P'Fa's hit series Love Bully. Then reporters came out of nowhere asking a billion questions. She picked me up so I had no choice...I'm really sorry."
Meena
"No...it's work, knowing you're with Char, you're bound to get caught up. I just wanted to go over FAEN DAY, but I honestly can't think of what to do. I still have to do some podcast and do a fan signing later. I just wanted to see if you could get a quick bite to eat."
Aoom
"...Oh...uhm..."
Meena
"You ate already...right?"
Aoom
"Yea...after all that dancing, I wasn't expecting to go for more than an hour. We stopped by some local vendors and just got some pork belly and sticky rice..but I can go for dessert!"
Meena
"Mmm...I don't feel like sweets right now. I wanted to eat something...crispy..."
Aoom
"Ahhh...u guilt tripping me?"( in a cute baby voice)
Meena
"Maybe...but it's ok ka...I just.."
Aoom
"You just what? You can say it!"
Meena
"No"
Aoom
"Say it"
Meena
"No"
Aoom
"I'm staying over later remember?"
Meena
"I'll tell you when you get here then.( as she smiles from ear to ear like an idiot)
Aoom
"Ok ka, I'll have Char drop me off of course. More than likely in an hour or 2. She's talking to Boss now."
Meena
"Ok, don't forget my snacks!"
Aoom
"You got it Prin..."
Meena
"Ugh, don't call me that"
Aoom
"Lolin ka...ok kisses see u soon"
