While the cameras kept Mai busy, the two girls step aside to have a private chat.
Aoom
"What's the matter? You look like you're going to be sick? Isn't this something you would wish for? Especially at this very moment where we're gaining the eye of the media? I know you always play things off in your own way, but I know how much this truly means to you...what it truly means to...us. Are you not happy?"
Meena
"It's not that Babe...I'm just filled with different kinds of emotions. You know how much I hate surprises, and it's not like this is a bad surprise, it's just I'm...I'm truly caught off guard. I'm feeling all sorts of emotions right now. I have butterflies, knots, that wriggling squid...poor squid...all in my stomach right now and I can honestly tell you I don't know if I...if I...."
Aoom doesn't hesitate to excuse them from the media momentarily as she needed to rush Meena to the bathroom and quick! They burst passed the bathroom attendants, not realizing they've run into the men's room. Meena busy through one of the stalls and BLEGHHHHHHH!!!! As Aoom is right behind her holding up her hair. Unbeknownst to them through the panic...there was another guest in the bathroom.
They both check their dresses to make sure there was no sight of any unwanted evidence. They head over to the sink to wash up.
Boon
" I would like to congratulate you both...but my apologies for I know this was not the right place to be."
Meena
"I'm so embarrassed...thank you? And what are you doing in here?!"
Boon
"Well...you're in the men's bathroom dear.."
Aoom
"Dear?"
Meena was quick to pinch Aoom as to calm her down and side eye her to be nice.
Boon
"Excuse me...Aoom right? I am so honored to meet you! Meena spoke about you all the time! It almost sounded like you guys were practically married with how much she talked about you. You know I caught her a few times sneaking off during filming. Well, I can understand why! Her bestfriend is a sight to see! What a pleasure to have met you...wished it was through other circumstances."
Aoom
" Oh...haha yes! It's really nice to meet you." As she wipes her wet hands on his lapel as she goes in for a side hug. "Oh...gosh...I...I am so sorry." AS she giggles sarcastically.
Boon
"Ah...oh don't..don't worry about it hehe. Well, I'll excuse myself and let you finish up. I'll tell the attendant that the bathroom needs servicing and to put up a wet floor sign. It was really nice to meet you, and Meena, congratulations, on to new and bigger chapters."
Boon walks out to inform the attendants. And the two girls were able to sneak out without notice.
Char
"There you guys are! Where the hell did you go?! That's one way to meet my new friend."
Aoom
"We're sorry, whatever Meena ate yesterday is coming up now. You shouldn't be surprised. After all, you out of anyone else couldn't at least give us a heads up? It's not like it's just anybody...MAI DAVIKA?!..really Char?!"
Char
"Hey now! It didn't take a lot of convincing, but you definitely owe me one. Just hurry up and get ready for the press. I had to mitigate the situation considering our Boss. Boy he's pissed. Anyway, we'll talk later. Just hold hands and stuff do whatever MeenBabe thing you guys always do and smileeeee."
