Author note:
⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
This story is based on the Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling, and I DO NOT own many of the characters in this fanfic (there may be some characters I create, but idk yet)

Obviously, I will not go into details about every single year because then this book will be too long, so I may change some events that take place.

I'm not killing off any of the cool characters, so dw!!!

Please be kind as this is my first fanfic!!!

HARRY POV

Hagrid and I were walking down a street called diagon Alley. I was still trying to understand what had just happened. One minute I was thinking I would be stuck with the Dursley's forever, and the next, a giant, hairy man was standing in the living room telling me I was a wizard?!

How could I be a wizard? This has to be a mistake. My whole life has been a lie! I was told my parents died in a car crash, but in reality, some crazy bald guy named voldewart or something murdered them.

I looked at all of the different shops as Hagrid and I searched for the things I needed for school. In one shop window, I saw the most beautiful white owl I had ever seen. She turned to look at me, and I was immediately drawn to her.

Eventually, I dragged myself away from the owl and caught up to Hagrid, who was standing in front of a shop called Ollivanders.

"There ya are Harry, I was wondering where ya got to." He looked at me for a moment before saying, "Go in here and look for a wand, I'll come find you in a bit, I've got some business to take care of."

I nodded and walked into the old shop. My jaw dropped, there were what must have been hundreds of wands, all stacked neatly on shelves and things floating all over the place.

I walked up to the ancient looking desk and pressed the bell. I stood there for a moment, looking around curiously, when an old looking man with crazy, white hair appeared from somewhere.

He stared at me for a moment. "My god, you're Harry Potter?!" Why did he look so shocked? "Yep, that's me." I replied, confused.

"It seems like yesterday, your parents were in here buying their first wands. " He said, almost as though he had just unlocked a fond memory.

My parents bought their wands here? I still can't believe no one told me they were magic .

"Where are my manners?" The man began, "my name is Garrick Ollivander, I own this shop." He held out his hand, and I shook it politely, giving him a small smile.

"Right, let's get started then, shall we?" I nodded, and he used a ladder to get one of the wands down from the shelves.

"Try this one first." He said eagerly. I shot him a puzzled look. "What am I supposed to do?" I asked. "Just wave the wand slightly, and we'll see what happens."

I took a deep breath and did a quick flick of the wand. Papers came flying out of a draw, and all over the place. "No, not that one then." Ollivander said. "I'm so sorry." I muttered sheepishly. "Oh, it's quite all right, Mr Potter."

He got another wand of the shelf and handed it to me. I did the same as before and accidentally set the lamp on fire. "No, no, definitely not that one." Mr Ollivander said, putting out the fire and taking the wand from me.

Ollivander paused, his expression showed he was deep in thought. "Hmm, I wonder?" He dragged the ladder over to the far corner of the shop and climbed right up it, taking a wand off of the very top of the shelf and looking at it for a moment.

He brought it over to me and almost hesitated before handing it to me. I took it and did the exact same thing, but this time, instead of anything bad happening, I actually felt stronger. A huge grin made its way onto my face. "I think this is the one."
I said, smiling.

"That's strange." Mr Ollivander whispered. "Why is that strange?." I asked. He thought for a moment, almost as though he wasn't sure he should tell me. "It's strange because that wand is made of a phoenix tail feather, and so is its brother, the one that gave you that scar." He said, pointing to my scar.

<<<<TIME SKIP>>>>

I thanked Ollivander for the wand, and walked out of the shop to see Hagrid standing there with a smile and holding a cage. I looked closer and there she was! It was the gorgeous white owl I saw earlier.

"Happy Birthday Harry!" Hagrid said, handing me the cage. "Thank you so much Hagrid." I exclaimed. "Ya more than welcome Harry."

Hagrid and I walked into a place called Gringotts and Hagrid talked to some weird looking creatures called goblins.

After Hagrid had picked up his secret parcel, we walked back out of the bank.

I looked at the list for school, we had already got the books I will be needing, my wand, and my owl so the only thing left to buy was school robes.

Hagrid went to talk to another wizard so told me to go and get my robes fitted. I walked into a shop called Madam Malkin's robes for all occasions and gave my robes to someone behind the desk, she gestured to tell me to go stand on one of the platforms.

I put my owl out of the way and went to go stand on the platform. I looked around, and on the platform next to mine was the most beautiful boy I had ever seen, he had the most striking gray/blue eyes that matched nicely with his smooth pale skin, and the most gorgeous soft-looking blonde hair.

He must have caught me staring because he blushed and offered his hand out to mine. "I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy."
