HARRY'S POV

"Alright, open your eyes." Draco said, a hint of excitement in his voice.

I did as i was told and opened my eyes. I was standing in the most beautiful room I had ever seen. "Draco, where are we?" I asked, searching his face for some kind of indication of what was happening.

Draco grinned back at me. "We are in our new home!"

My jaw dropped in shock. "S-seriously?"

Draco nodded his head. "Yep. Not only do we get to stay in the same room, we also get our own little home."

I ran over to Draco and wrapped my arms around him. "This is brilliant. Did you design it yourself?"

"Yeah. I had a lot of help from Dobby, though." Draco replied, pulling slightly away from the hug so he could look at me.

"So... do you like it?" He asked, nervously waiting for me to reply.

"I love it!" I confirmed, looking around the room in admiration.

Draco's nervousness melted into a bright smile, and he let out a sigh of relief. “I’m glad you like it,” he said, reaching for my hand. "Come on, let me give you the full tour." He tugged me gently, and I followed, still taking in all the details of our new home.

The living area was cozy, with a soft grey sofa that matched Draco’s eyes. There was a small fireplace, its mantel adorned with photos of us—one from our first trip to Hogsmeade together, and another of us laughing during a Quidditch match. I hadn’t even known Draco kept these photos.

He led me through a wide archway into the kitchen, which was far too nice for either of us to know how to use properly. There was a sleek, marble countertop and shiny pans hanging above the stove. "We’re definitely going to need some house-elf help in here," I joked.

Draco chuckled. "Dobby's already offered to teach us a thing or two, though I think he might just end up doing most of it himself." His hand tightened around mine as he led me down a hallway. “And now, for my favorite part,” he said, stopping in front of a door.

He opened it, and I stepped inside. The bedroom was stunning, with a large four-poster bed draped in luxurious emerald green and silver linens, echoing both mine and Draco's favourite colors in perfect harmony. Soft candlelight flickered from wall sconces, casting a warm glow over the room. But what really caught my attention was a smaller door at the far end.

“What’s in there?” I asked, glancing at Draco.

Draco grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “Go see for yourself.”

I walked over and opened the door, revealing a balcony overlooking the grounds. It was the perfect view of the castle and the Black Lake. There was a small seating area with two chairs and a table, and even a couple of enchanted plants that hummed softly in the evening breeze.

I turned back to Draco, my chest tight with emotion. “This is… perfect,” I said, feeling the lump in my throat as I tried to find the right words. “I can’t believe you did all of this.”

He stepped closer, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his forehead against mine. “I wanted to give us a place that was truly ours,” he whispered. “A place where we can just be… together.”
