Demon Princess

The Attack

I was walking through the inside garden when I heard a scream. I walked over to the path that lead to the backyard and saw a crowd of servants huddling around, so I approched them.

"What the hell is going on here."  I said.

"Princess one of your shadows attacked Nala", the servant said, "I was there when it all happened. I think she is hurt, your Majesty."

"So are you implying that my shadows are monsters?!?" I yelled

"Noo...nooo...noo" stuttered the servant.

"Then my shadows did not attack her. How dare you think they attack, if they attack that mean I have no type of control and it is truly insulting that you think that. I am your princess and I have the authority on what is true and what is not. Does anybody think otherwise?" I questioned.

"NO YOUR HIGHNESS" , they yelled, "WE ARE AT YOUR MERCY".

"Good. Now let me see the servant that screamed"

A young girl about my age comes forward and her entire outfit is covered in blood. I am truly shocked by what I am looking at but don't show it. I sense a different presence then my shadow on her. "What exactly happened here, I mean to you?"

The girl looks up but doesn't make eye contact. She seems scared that if she says the wrong thing her life might end right here and now.

'"Speak now or I will seriously make you bleed some more" I bellow at the girl.

The girl opens her mouth but then closes it and starts to tear up.

What a pathetic creature. How can my father take worthless people in. I thought

"Speak up and stop crying I don't have all day with your tears. SPEAK UP NOW!" I said

This only made more tears come out. I pace over to the girl and grab her by the collar and look straight into her eyes and she suddenly went into a trance.

"Now explained what happened" I calmly said.

In a monotone voice the girl said, "I was walking towards the servants quarters when I felt like I was hit in the head by a bat, but I was protected by a shield of some sorts. Then I turned around and saw a spiky dark shadow that pierced through my stomach and cracked my ribs. I was truly terrified and didn't know what to do until another dark shadow came out and saved my life while making the dark shadow fleed away."

I smile and turn to the onlooking servants. "Do you see that she was not attacked by my shadow because my is smooth and gorgeously midnight black while the other was spiky with oil black color."

I sense everybody relaxing, glad that their princess wouldn't attack them. Do they really think I would attack them? I guess because I really act like I would. It's so funny by what you say they actually believe you.

I sense more presence in the area. But the annoying kind.

"What the hell is going on here" my freakishly annoying half-brother Yuki approaching us with the "gang". The six of them, my half-brothers Kasumi, Juunichi, Tomoya, and Yashiro with my half-sisters Mara and Haruhi. To tell you about me I seriously don't like my family ever since I came into this world becuase I was different. But when the incident occured 11 years ago I disliked them even more. I hated everybody because I blame them for not saving what was most precious to me.   

"What do you want Yuki? I asked

"I heard some screaming and came running right of here,SIS." said Yuki

"Well I got things under control thank you very much."

"So what happened anyway."

"Oh we had an intruder in the premises, no big deal." I said

"Stop lying there is no way an intruder can come in under our eyes." Yuki said

"Well one of our servants was attacked by an intruder and was not detected, under YOUR EYES. I guess it would happen under this poor security you have hear." I laughed

Yuki walks gradually over to me and comes up closely  to my face, nearly nose touching."You know I run security around here nothing gets by me. The girl probably attacked herself to look like an intruder did it, she is maybe trying to get under our skiins. Why don't you question her" he says.

"She is under my trance there is no way she can lie to me without my knowing or are you saying I can't handle my own spell?" I countered. I can feel my eyes shifting into a blood red color.

Looks like more blood will be shed today, but by my doing.

Yuki backs off and says, "No Akira I would never say that to you, well not face to face anyway. I'm just curious to see if we can trust our servants."

Sad looks like no blood from me today but I can't start a fight for no reason. Im on probation by dad.

"Well I'm sure you can they would risk their lives for us, is that right guys?" I ask

They all nod.

I turn and talk to a male servant and say "Go and clean up this mess and somebody go help this young lady into the infirmary". 

Then behind me Yuki says " Lets go and take this matter to father shall we and put a rest to this problem don't you agree?" I dont get to answer when Yuki and the others start walking towards dad's office.

Looks like my walk is ruined now I have to go and see the old man. I was hoping I wouldn't have to see him for the whole day. But too late we got to see what is happening now and fast so it won't happen again.

"Hurry up so I won't have to be with you guys any longer" I said

"It won't last for about twenty minutes, then we can't see ugly faces anymore for sure."

"Wow you get sick of your face too. I am glad I'm not the only one who is tired" I laugh.

The others snicker while Yuki pulls a frown on his face. Boy do I like messing with him, it's the only enjoyment you can get here.

"Hey guys what's going on" I hear somone say behind me. I turn around and see my brother Tamaki with one of his books he is so addicted to. 

"Tamaki we are going to dad." my sister Mara says with her huge bloated smile of hers.

"I smell blood and lots of it and something unfamiliar. What happened and why was I not included" he says.

I said "This is no game Tamaki we aren't having fun and  we-. My brother Yuki interrupts by saying "Well i was having fun it was a huge crime scene. We are doing detective work"

Yuki is such a pain in the ass all the time. You will not believe the many times I planned an attempt murder on him but my dad stopped me. "It is not fun when one of our own gets attacked by an intruder and we were on our way to father to settle the situation" I look straight at Yuki with my gray eyes i feel coming on.

"I would like to come and help I'm good at helping solve crime scenes" Tamaki says

"This is not a damn crime scene we are having fun at its serious. If you all want to play around you go search the area and play your little game. I'm am going to the king and tell what has happened here and then I can get my peace of damn mind alone in my room!!!" I said fuming.

"Okay guys I see Akira is serious about this and wnts this done and over lets go without anymore interruption" Tamaki says calmly."

"Agree" everyone says in unison.

"You were the damn interruption in the first place" I said to Tamaki.

He gives me one of those innocent smiles he worked on so hard. "I'm sorry do you forgive me and can we go together and solve this as a family?" he asks

"Hell no"

"For which one?" he ask, confused.

"Both" I said nonchantedly

"Aww not fair"

"Serves you damn right. Now lets go before I just leave you guys to the problem" 

"Right" everybody says and we all head out to figure out the mystery of our unwelcomed visitor.
