The next day flew by in a blur. I could hardly focus at work, my mind racing with thoughts about tonight. 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘐'𝘮 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘢. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭.

By the time 7 pm rolled around, I was at the restaurant, nervously waiting outside. Every car that passed made my heart jump. Then, a sleek black car pulled up and out stepped Kells.

"Hey, Rose, you look beautiful."

"Thanks, Kells. You look amazing yourself," I replied, feeling my cheeks heat up.

We entered the restaurant, and the hostess led us to a private table with a view. I couldn't help but be impressed by the ambiance—soft lighting, elegant decor, everything perfect. We settled in and started talking, our conversation flowing easily. We talked about growing up in Cleveland, shared music recommendations, and laughed over shared interests. As dinner progressed, I found myself relaxing more, enjoying the moment. Kells leaned in slightly, his gaze intense yet warm. "I'm really glad we did this, Rose. You're even cooler than I imagined."

I felt my cheeks heat up again. "I'm glad too, Kells. This has been amazing."

When dessert arrived, we shared a decadent chocolate mousse, our spoons clinking playfully as we reached for bites at the same time. The night was perfect, and as much as I protested, Kells insisted on paying the bill. We walked out of the restaurant together, the city lights casting a soft glow around us.

"I don't want this night to end just yet. How about we take a walk?" he suggested.

"That sounds perfect," I agreed, eager to spend more time with him.

We strolled through the quiet streets of Cleveland, talking and laughing under the starlit sky. As we reached a scenic overlook, Kells stopped and turned to face me. My heart raced, anticipating what might come next.

"Rose, I'm really glad we met. Can I see you again?" he asked, his voice sincere.

I nodded, feeling a rush of excitement and happiness. "Definitely, Kells. I'd like that."

He smiled, and before I knew it, he leaned in, closing the distance between us with a gentle kiss. My heart pounded in my chest as he gently cupped my face with his hand, his thumb brushing softly against my cheek.

The kiss deepened, becoming more passionate as his other hand found its way to the small of my back, pulling me closer. I wrapped my arms around his neck, losing myself in the moment. It was as if everything I had ever dreamed of was happening right then and there, and I didn't want it to end. After what felt like an eternity, we slowly pulled apart, both of us slightly breathless. He rested his forehead against mine, his eyes still closed, a small smile playing on his lips.

Thats the end of this chapter. Ik short, sorryy!! The next one will be much longer I promise
