On the road, you were driving a motorcycle with your younger sister, Kira, in the sidecar.
Kira: "This is awesome! Fighting monsters and saving people!"
"Love the enthusiasm Kira, but remember, we're doing this to have a roof over our heads. This is the best opportunity we have ever had since we bolted."
Kira: "I know, but hey, it's still better than me meeting mom's new boyfriends and you dealing with whatever girl your dad's been wasting his money on."
"True. Either way, keep your eyes opened. Those ugly bastards have to be around here somewhere."
Kira then noticed two people walking in front of yourselves.
Kira: "Jaywalkers!"
You managed to avoid hitting them both, but you swerved out of control into a subway entrance, where you noticed claw marks all over the floor and walls.
Kira: "Was the subway always like this?"
"Yes and no. Subway was abandoned years ago and every now and again, people come down here to do wild stuff. But these claw marks are undoubtedly fresh. Ready?"
Kira nodded and transformed into a scythe.
"Let me know if I cause you to get dizzy."
Kira: "I'll be fine."
You kept on walking and heard something growling and thrashing. You headed towards the source and saw a multi-armed creature with a head that has masks inverted from each other.
You tried to sneak up on it, but suddenly, a girl with light taupe hair in pigtails appeared with an emo looking guy with a sweater and beanie.

"If you're thinking of taking this Kishin's egg, forget it, since you nearly ran the both of us over," she said.
The boy then transformed into a scythe and is wielded by her.

"Oh, a fellow scythe meister," you said to her. "I know that this isn't going to make you not as mad at me, but I'm really looking forward to how you perform in this."
"Thanks, I guess," she responded.
"First one to slay this thing keeps the egg."
"You're on!" the male scythe shouted.
The two of you began to fight the Kishin and it managed to jump you with its arms. The girl managed to slice off a few of its arms before you cut its legs off.
You then cut it in half, revealing its egg.
"Looks like we lost," she said.
"Damn," the scythe responded.
Kira reverted to her human form and grabbed it.
"Eat up, little sis."
Kira: "Okay."
As she ate the egg, the emo boy had a look of surprise on his face.
Kira: "Mmm. Delicious."
"Sorry, I didn't seem to catch your names."
"Maka."
"Soul."
"Well, we best take our leave. Till next time we meet."
You picked up Kira, ran back to the bike and drove away as Maka and Soul begin to leave themselves.
