Guess who the kid is!!
Tom Riddle
It was a peaceful day. Not a sign of chaos. This was like finding an oasis in the middle of the Sahara Desert. The twins were out somewhere and Rodolphus was taken for his yearly interrogation to the ministry. I was alone at the manor and I wasn't going to waste it. We would be meeting with our mates tomorrow for a trip to the london zoo, so today was my only chance for a day to myself. Merlin knows I need one, with handling three kids.
So, I took out Hemingway, a literature classic, and took my position on the sofa and begun my beautiful, peaceful and uninterrupted journey. I wasn't going to let anything distract me. Humankind could be on the verge of being wiped away by an inferi apocolypse right this moment and I didn't give two flying fucks.
I was on the second chapter, when the telephone started ringing. That is strange. Nobody in the world has our house number. We only had it installed for emergencies. What emergencies would involve us using a muggle phone you ask? Let me know when you find an answer. Truth be told, I don't even remember why we have a muggle phone.
I went and picked it up cautiously unaware of who the other person on the line would be. I waited for the other person to speak first, "Hello?"
Lexi's familiar voice spoke, she sounded a bit panicked, dread crawled in my veins.
"Lexi?""Heyyyy," She drawled.
"You know we love you." She spoke. All the dread suddenly vanished leaving only annoyance behind. She would only butter me when she needed something.
"So very much." Matt's faint voice spoke in the background."What the fuck did you two do?" I cut straight to the chase, my voice so cold, it could freeze the antarctic. I had no time for pleasantries. And besides they were my younger siblings. They deserved to be treated like this.
"So..we need you to come get us?" Her voice was laced with sugar, it would give me diabetes if I listened to it a minute longer. She was treading carefully, one wrong move and they would be done for. No one to save them if I hung up the phone.
"Where?"
"The muggle jail in London."
"I'll be there in half an hour, you twats."
I dropped my book on the table and ran out of the manor, after putting my coat and shoes on.So much for my peaceful day.

I sat in the waiting room, my tolerance degrading by every fucking second. I was contemplating on the many ways I could torture them before killing them when a woman and a man in their mid-twenties entered the room.
Targets spotted.
I instantly recognized them. The mischief gleaming in their eyes with only a smidge of guilt. They are going to pay for ruining my day.
I wordlessly got up and walked out of the room. Cold fury was simmering inside me threatening to spill over but i won't lose my cool. I never did. They followed and we walked through the police station in silence with them behind me. It wasn't until we were out on the street and out of earshot that they started rambling.
"It wasn't our faul-"
"We were just having fun-"
"They arrested us for no reaso-""Stop." It was only one word and it wouldn't even have been effective if I hadn't been the one saying it. Often it wasn't the words that made the impact, it was the speaker. And I always made an impact.
