It all started when he was 12 years old. He was watching the last round of the 1997 Masters. Tiger Woods was in the lead. Tiger woods won the Masters with an outstanding score of -18. The boy turned to his dad, who used to be a pro PGA Tour golfer until he suffered a car accident that ended his career, and said "Dad I want to win the green jacket to finish what you started." The dad was shocked. His son never said anything about golf in his entire life. That boys name was Arthur Connor. Arthur's dad bought him a great set of clubs and Arthur practiced from when he got home from school till he had to go to bed. At the age of 13 Arthur entered his first golf match. His finished in 78th place with a score of +21. Arthur was discouraged with his score. His never wanted to play golf again after that performance. His dad cheered him up by telling him, "Everybody has bad rounds of golf son. Today was yours. With more practice and more dedication you can go out their and win." Arthur never forgot what his dad told him that day. He practiced every chance he got to. During the summer he would wake up at 6:00 am and won't go inside until he had to. At some points he wouldn't go inside until midnight. He was determined to become the greatest golfer in PGA history.
