"Uncle Youngie!" Minho squealed, abandoning his toys and running for the door as soon as it opened. Chan heard him and came out from the kitchen.

"Oh, so you know the words Uncle Youngie but you can't say appa again?" Chan swung the almost two-year-old up into his arms. Minho whined and held his arms out for Young-Hyun, who didn't hesitate in taking his only nephew.

"Nice to see you too, little cat" Young-Hyun ruffled Minho's hair. The toddler perked up, looking at Chan.

"Can we get a cat?" He wondered.

"No" Chan answered without a thought. He was barely getting by just taking care of himself and Minho. A cat would just be more unnecessary costs.

"But-" Minho argued. Chan's brow rose and Minho went quiet, crossing his arms.

"A cat would be good for him, Chan" Young-Hyun pointed out. Minho's face brightened up again and he looked over hopefully at Chan.

"I'm sure it would but I can't afford it" Chan responded. Young-Hyun thought for a moment but he didn't say anything more. He didn't want to undermine Chan's parenting in front of Minho. That would only cause more trouble for Chan.

"Daddy's mean" Minho mumbled. Chan felt his heart break and he looked away, feeling guilty for not being able to give Minho everything he wanted.

"No, daddy is not mean. Don't ever say that about your appa ever again, little boy. He does everything he can for you but some things he cannot do" Young-Hyun scolded. Minho was clearly surprised. Young-Hyun never scolded him, that was Chan's thing, the few times he actually did it which was surprisingly not often.

"Hyung, you didn't have to-" Chan interrupted, a little uncomfortable and sad for Minho, especially as he watched the kid's eyes get watery.

"I don't like uncle anymore!" Minho burst into tears. Chan was about to say something when there was a knock on the door and both adults froze. Minho did not even seem to realize that they were being interrupted. He just kept crying loudly.

"Young-hyung, would you...?" Chan motioned to Minho and the hallway. Young-Hyun nodded, carrying Minho back to the one bedroom.

"Come on, kid. Let's you and I have a talk about appreciating the people in your life" Young-Hyun walked off, closing the door to the room and setting Minho down on the bed in front of him. Chan opened the door, surprised to find his old girlfriend in front of him and holding a child.

"Yuna" He greeted, not happy but not annoyed either.

"Chan" She responded, seeming annoyed at being there. This was the last place she wanted to go but it was her last option.

"Look, I'll keep this quick. This is your son, Changbin. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you about him but he's here now and I need you to take him" She handed Chan the baby, looking around nervously. Chan almost thought that she looked like someone was following her.

"I don't...Yuna, we haven't been together since Minho was born!" Chan argued.

"Okay so he's not your son but you have to take care of him. Please. I know I haven't been very involved with Minho and that's my fault. I just couldn't do it, I still can't" She pleaded, turning her head to the side again. Chan peeked around the corner to see what she was worried about but there was no one there.

"I don't have the money to take care of another kid. I'm barely getting by enough as it is" Chan tried to reason with her. Yuna turned back to him, her eyes wide and full of fear. Chan relented without a second thought.

"Okay, just...okay. I'll take care of him. Are you...okay, Yuna?" Chan wondered. Yuna handed him a small bag of clothes, diapers and other things and then turned and walked away without a word. Chan watched her go, only going back inside once she was out of sight. Something was definitely wrong, but he couldn't help her. Chan sat down on the couch, maneuvering Changbin to lay in his arm and looking down at the baby.

"Changbin, huh?" Chan chuckled, looking the baby over for any injuries or signs of force. He couldn't be sure but the way that Yuna was acting, something was wrong and he wanted to make sure that the baby he was being trusted with was okay. Young-Hyun came out of the room, informing Chan that Minho was taking a nap and then left. Chan had completely forgotten to ask why he came over in the first place but it didn't matter now. A few hours later, Chan went to go wake Minho, temporarily leaving Changbin behind just for a few seconds.

"Hey, Min-min. I got a surprise for you" Chan gently picked up the two-year-old and carried him out to the living room.

"Kitty?" Minho mumbled, still waking up and rubbing his eyes. Chan sat down on the couch, setting Minho on his knee and getting him to look at Changbin.

"This is your brother" He spoke gently. Minho stared at the younger baby for a minute. He was still waking up and also trying to process the fact that there was a mini him on the couch.

"That's not a kitty"
