Chan was in the middle of making lunch while the two boys were playing in the living room just close enough that he could hear them even if he couldn't see them. He was trying to be confident in the fact that Minho would be gentle with Changbin but he was a little nervous about it. Minho was not cruel, but Chan was still worried how he was going to manage not being the only kid in the house anymore. Speaking of houses, Chan needed to find a bigger one. He lived in just a one-bedroom apartment and now with two kids, that wasn't going to be enough. Soon enough Minho would be getting too old to be sharing a room and neither of the two boys would be able to stay in Chan's room forever.

"Binnie no!" Minho's yell was quickly followed by the sound of a toy hitting something (Chan assumed it was Changbin or Minho) and then loud crying. Chan sighed and washed his hands off, going into the living room. Changbin was crying but surprisingly, or not surprisingly, Minho was too.

"What's the matter you two?" Chan crouched down in front of both of them.

"Binnie hit me!" Minho bawled, pointing at the younger baby.

"Hyungie hit me!" Changbin repeated Minho's words, pointing at the older baby. Chan bit back a smile; he didn't want either of them thinking that he found this amusing.

"Okay no more hitting or biting or spitting or whatever else you can do that ends in -ing" Chan told them. Minho looked up at him and Chan just knew that he was about to receive a very sarcastic response.

"Moving?" Minho stared at him. Chan just turned and walked right back out; he was not dealing with that. Unfortunately, that was not the end of the chaos.

"Changbin ate paint!" Minho screeched loud enough that there was no way Chan wouldn't hear. Sighing again, Chan went back to the living room only to be met with chaos. Somehow, in some mysterious way, the two boys had found paint. Chan hadn't even known that he had any in the house.

"Why does Changbin have paint? Why do you have paint? And why are you covered in paint? Minho!" Chan tried to take a deep breath to calm down. Minho was two years old; he didn't know any better. But he really did, and Chan knew that too.

"I thought it would be fun to paint something. Except I couldn't find any paper" Minho looked around the floor as if paper would just magically appear. Chan felt his heart stop. Couldn't find paper could only mean one thing. He walked further into the living room, turning the corner to the wall that the boys were facing.

"Minho. Why is the wall covered in tiny handprints?" Chan asked, trying to keep his voice neutral and not convey any frustration. It was just a wall, it could be fixed.

"Because we have tiny hands?" Minho shrugged, getting the sense that maybe this had not been the best idea he had in his whole two years of life. Chan stared at the wall; his lips pressed into a tight line to keep from completely losing it. If this is what it was like, he did not want an artistically gifted child. He would lose his sanity if that were to happen.

Would it really hurt to leave the handprints up as a sign of his children's artistic talent? Yes, it really would. Chan lived in an apartment where he was not allowed to even hang up pictures using nails.

"Let's go get your hands cleaned off" Chan picked up both boys and carried them to the bathroom to wash the paint off their hands. And then he sat them both down on the couch, sitting on the floor in front of them.

"Your paintings are amazing but unfortunately, they cannot stay" Chan got right to the point, knowing that it was better to do that than beat around the bush. Minho frowned instantly.

"But we worked so hard!" He whined.

"I know you did and I really appreciate it but next time, let's just make pictures on paper and not on the wall because then we don't have to clean up pictures on paper. Okay?" Chan compromised, even though that was one of the original rules in the first place. He couldn't blame Minho or Changbin for forgetting, they were two and one, they couldn't even remember which bedtime story Chan read to them the night before.

"Can we make paint pictures now? I want to have one ready for the new baby" Minho wondered. Chan felt a sudden chill go down his spine.

"What new baby?" Chan wondered, a little fearful of the answer. He didn't think that Minho was being serious, children had wild imaginations after all but it was still kind of creepy the amount of confidence in a statement coming from a two year old.

"The one in mommy's belly" Minho answered, still just as creepy as before. Chan knelt down in front of him.

"Minho honey, you haven't seen your mom since she dropped Changbin off" Chan reminded him, worried for his child.

"I know. But she was carrying a baby when she dropped Binnie off. I saw it" Minho hummed quietly to himself, making a picture for the supposed new baby. Chan stared at him, deeply disturbed but unsure how to proceed without making the situation worse. Was his child crazy, full of imagination or just very observant? Chan didn't get another moment to think about it because there was a knock on the door, and he jumped a little.

"He's here" Minho stated. Chan decided not to comment on that, fearing that his child was turning into a psychic, and got up to answer the door. There was no one there except a small basket with a rather tall baby in it and a note pinned to the child's blanket. Chan read the note and looked back at Minho once again.

"Hey Min, did you happen to know this baby's name too?" Chan wondered. He knew it was a ridiculous question but he just wanted to be sure. Minho rolled his eyes.

"No. I'm not super smart or anything" Minho responded with as much sass as a two year old could manage. Chan sighed in relief. Maybe Minho was just extremely observant and not completely crazy.

"But I want to name him Hyunjin" Minho added. Chan tensed up again. Or maybe Minho was completely crazy.
