The challenge was not really going that great. The Bright Lights were already ahead, which everyone unanimously blamed on the incompetency of Balloon, when it came to pulling up buckets of water at the edge of the docks. Practically everyone was praying on his failure, praying on his downfall this challenge. It stressed him out significantly.

It did not help that Nickel was getting visibly more and more vexed, he could not go 5 seconds without shouting out some snarky remark, at Balloon's expense.

Balloon's heart was racing quick. He could not focus. He could not think. He could not do it right. His fingers pulled on the string as he tried his best to heave up a bucket of water so he would not be the sole reason his team lost horribly on the contest. Heh. It already seemed like all hope was lost. How were the Grand Slams going to win this now?

It could not get any worse, Balloon thought. He was so wrong.

Just as he was steadying the bucket, he heard footsteps approaching him on the docks. Oh god. He was praying so hard that it was not Nickel. It was probably Lightbulb - she was awfully good at this, to his detriment.

No. It was one of his teammates. It was Microphone.

"Hey, Balloon.." she uttered.

He got up and held the bucket in his hands firmly. Oh! She wanted to grab it from him! She did not need to come all the way here though, he could walk just fine. "Hello, Mic, do you want to grab this now?"

"Uhhmm, no..." Mic spoke, quite suspiciously. It made Balloon sweat. It made him worry. What did he do wrong this time? He did not think at this point that he could be redeemed at all.

"What?" Before anything else could happen, Microphone pulled something that she had been concealing from him prior, something that made his head spin.

A taser. WHY THE BLOODY HELL DOES SHE HAVE A TASER WITH HER? And what was she going to do with it...? To Balloon, it became abundantly clear.

"Hey!! Why do you have that.. What are you going to do with it??!!" Balloon shouted, freaked out. Mic laughed quietly.

"You already know, don't you..?" Mic questioned.

He was screwed. Quickly, he mapped out in his head the ways that he could possibly escape. It did not help that the only way to get away was being blocked by his attacker.. or...

There was always the lake. He could just jump in there and swim to safety. But, no. He did not want to do that right now.

"Stop please!!" Balloon squealed. Mic smiled, weirdly. This did not feel right, Microphone thought. But Taco said it. This has to happen. Balloon is kind of like the sacrifice. She fastened her grip on the weapon swiftly and went in. Balloon was just shocked she would choose to do this to him, for the game, for the competition. He felt like this was a little too far. His heart rate was through the roof, and he was frightened. He wanted to run away. He wanted to quit. He wanted everyone to forget he existed.

He stepped backwards, trying to create distance between him and Mic, yet there was no more space on the docks. His foot did not hit solid ground. Just as he was losing his balance, the taser was slashed full force at his chest. When it first came into contact it hurt a little - Mic did jab the object at him rather roughly.

That was just the beginning, though.

Microphone's finger settled on the button on the taser. Was she really going to do this? Was this really necessary? Yes. She answered, pushing away all her uneasy thoughts away. Taco gave her this taser, now it is time to put it to good use.

She pressed down. It felt like she had just passed one million volts into one single human being. A swift, sharp crackle rang out. Balloon screamed. Just as he was losing balance, the volts of electricity flowed through his body intensely, travelling to each corner and crevice, forcing a helpless cry from him. The pain surging through his nerves and bones created a torment that was utterly unbearable for him. It made his joints seize up and forced him into a panic attack.

Just as he was clocking the fact that he had just been electrocuted, he fell through the surface of the lake - he could feel himself sinking at an incredibly fast pace. Because of being immobilised by Mic's weapon, his arms and legs would not move. He could not move at all. He tried to call out for help. He tried to say something. He tried to get out of this situation. But, nothing. Nothing happened.

He was useless.

The water invaded his insides and chipped away at his conscience.

Not even Microphone was jumping in to help. Wow.

Despite the number of second that had passed, the agony still lingered. It made him want to rip all his skin and nerve cells off. It hurt so bad. His head was spinning. His limbs ached. He could not do anything.

His vision began to blur into black and deep blue. He did not care. He just wanted to die. He would much rather die. He did not wanna be revived. He did not wanna be voted out. He would much rather be a ghost forever.

---

Suddenly, a cool breeze rushed over him. He had been revived.

Everyone was stood around him. Staring.
