"Remorse ? Grief ? Sadness ? pain ? Those words may mean something to you but it means nothing to me, will never mean anything to me"

"Is that all Mr. Robin Miller ? that you don't feel guilty about your victim ?"

"That's all your, honor"

"Mr. Robin Miller, your words have been heard and duly noted. You have expressed no remorse, grief, sadness, or pain for the actions you have committed and the harm you have caused to your victim. Your lack of contrition and acknowledgement of the gravity of your actions is deeply troubling.

In light of your statements and the evidence presented, this court finds you guilty as charged. Your callous disregard for the suffering of your victim and your refusal to accept responsibility for your actions are factors that the court cannot ignore.

The sentence I impose must reflect the severity of your crime, the need for justice for the victim, and the necessity of protecting society from further harm. Mr. Miller, before I pronounce the final sentence, do you have any final statements you wish to make?"

"I have nothing more to say."

"Very well. It is the judgment of this court that you will be sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. You will now be taken into custody to begin serving your sentence. Court is adjourned."
