He raced through the trees, his heart beating hard in his throat. He had been peacefully working in the smithy with Borg, the god of weapons, when Erison had burst through the doors.
He hoped he wouldn't be too late, his love's life dependent on  him, not that Dove could protect herself, but the thought of her being forced to fight her brother didn't sit right with him.

When Erison burst through the doors, he told the Calamity they found out. They had figured out the connection that filtered between him and Dove, and in a cruel twist of faith, they had decided to send her brother, Chaos, after her. They could then easily blame and imprison chaos without a single question to their characters.

He sped up, he knew his Dove would sacrifice herself if it meant her brother would live. When he reached the lake, he saw his dove on the grass. His knees almost gave out, he was too late. She frantically gasped for air, reaching out to him, surrounded by her blood like a hallow. He rushed to her side, trying to press to her gaping wound, trying to stop her from bleeding out, trying to stop her from leaving. He sobbed, holding her close as her life supply almost ran out. Her lips trembled, as tears gushed down her eyes.

"I'm...So-" she gasped out, gasping every word, eyes bulging.

"Shhh.. don't... its ok.. its ok.." he croaked as he cradled her head in his arms. She gasped her strength falling her. He held her and sobbed as she left him. His grief soon turning into anger. His surroundings erupted into fire, the only thoughts in his head being destruction. There was no world in which he'd stay without his Dove.

He picked her up gently as the tears of agony, grief and rage rolled down his face. He carried as slowly as he stepped into the cooling waters of the lake. The world would feel his agony, they would pray for mercy then, but for now he would join his lover. He stepped into the water, slowly letting it bury him. He let the water fill into his lungs, drowning and engulfing him. He would rip the world apart just to find his lover again, then he'd make everyone pay. He gave out a last breath, as the lake held him in her embarrassing, almost cradling and comforting him like you would a child.
