Nikolai's pov
Walking out of the school through the back, I made my way to the black van waiting for me.
I got in seeing two men in the front of the van.
"Why the did you,, fucking call me before I could even get to class" I spat out
"The boss needs to see you" the driver stated and started the car on his way to my hell hole.
Xory's pov
Everything happened so fast, it all just came back to me
My failure
My fault
It can't be. I kept on repeating to myself as I paced around in the boys locker room.
She can't be my sister.
My Xia
My other half
I slid down next to one of the stalls and brought my knees to my chest and started hyperventilating.
The door burst open and in comes Kayla,, lunch period should already be over by now
She spotted me and came over hugging me while whispering reassurances and asking me to follow her breathing.
After calming down, Kayla let go of me sitting next to me In silence
After a few minutes she spoke up
"It could be her" she said quietly and I hummed. Not wanting to have this conversation
"We should get to class" she said getting up, noticing I wasn't following she sighed and sat back down
"Am not planning on leaving" I said not sparing her a glance
She sighed, getting out her phone and checking something
"Okay, They are no gym classes today anyway so we can stay here without interruption"
We stayed in silence the way i liked it

I was currently in my room, thinking about my encounter with my supposed sister.
I couldn't help but think, if she really was Chloe, why. Couldn't she remember me. Even after seeing me in the parking lot she didn't. Sure we were five but still,
she just couldn't be my sister
I was interrupted from my thoughts from a knock on the door, before I could even reply Dom came in saying it was time for dinner and left.
Getting to the double doors leading to our family dinning room, I made up my mind to tell dad about her, so he could do something to clear my doubt.
Opening the doors, I went in hoping dad will be around for dinner, but it seems this was one of the days he wasn't around, burying himself in work. At least Ales is here so I will tell him.
I took a seat between Leon and Leo, and waited for mum to tell us to start eating, staring at the door probably waiting for dad, mum sighed and told us to start eating
"So how was your day, boys ?" Mum asked putting on her happy facade.
Since no one said anything, I took this as my cue to say something about Chloe
"Um, my day was pretty interesting actually, I met someone who might spike your intere..........."
I was cut off by the double doors abruptly opening, revealing dad taking long strides towards the table, taking a seat at the head. Mum just smiled happily like she
accomplished something.
Everyone looked at dad, as he cleared his throat probably to gain everyone attention
"Awkward" Leon mumbled sensing the tension in the room
"Dad, has anything gone wrong with the mafia" Alessandro asked confused as to why Dad is here
"Can't I have a peaceful dinner with my family without discussing about the mafia" Dad asked, while all of us (except mum ofc) looked at him dumbfounded
After looking at our expressions, dad sighed
"Look, I know I haven't been the best dad and husband since the incident, I've been hurting and that's no excuse because you all have been hurting. I've been too fed up in the past, to busy drowning myself I'm work or trying to find your sister, that I don't have enough time to spend with my son's and I'm sorry for that. I'm m not saying, I'm going to stop the search for your sister, what I'm saying is that I will make more time to spend with you guys and I hope is not to late to make amends" dad said, and i think I'm hallucinating when I saw a little tear escape from his eye.
Everyone just looked at him while telling dad that it was okay, that we understood him, and after those endearments were exchanged from everyone except for Dom who was just silent the whole time, we continued our dinner with conversation and laughter
I didn't want to spoil the mood by telling everyone about Chloe so I reframed myself keeping to myself any thoughts I had about her.
Vincezo's pov
(This was before dinner at the Di'caprio mansion)
Doing some work in my office, I sighed looking at the papers waiting for me to go through.
Picking another document, my eyes land on the picture of my family when Ximena was still with us, we looked so different, all my boys had a smile on their face.
Different from the way we are now, Alessandro is all serious and doesn't communicate a lot unless it has to do with the mafia or one of his siblings getting hurt, but at least he makes time to come home before dinner, Angelo is just Angelo, but I still know he's hurting, he just wants his siblings to know that he's here for them, Dom, well he was the most affected after Xory, he always blamed himself for not fighting enough, thus, making him to be either at the gym if he's not at school, Leon just became cold always pissed at the smallest of things, Leo just kept to himself, although cracking a joke here and there to lighten everyone moods, he was also hurting.
My wife Ame (pronounced as Ami) always had as smile on her face, but sometimes she'll cry herself to sleep holding a picture of our daughter, and i, well I just drowned myself in work, sometimes causing myself to miss dinners with my family.
"Dinner is ready" my wife Amelia said as she waited for my response
I guess I was lost in my thoughts, that I didn't notice her come in
"I'm still busy, I won't be able to join you" I said sparing her just a glance before going back to work. I thought she was just gonna leave but I guess I was wrong
" Vince..., come on, you can't continue doing this to yourself, think about your sons and how their feeling, think about me Vince, your family needs you" She said angrily, before she just scoffed and was about to leave when she looked at me and said
"I know all of us are hurting, and we have our own ways to cope with this, but at least be there for your family" she said before leaving, shutting the door in her way out .
After the little pep talk in my head I decided to go downstairs and face my family.
