A/N: this is a filler chapter before we start on their fifth year. It'll get darker from now on. So if you wanted more drama, no worries, you'll get it.

It turns out professor Moody was not at all him. It was Barty Crouch Junior all along.
He almost killed Harry if it wasn't for Dumbledore's right timing. However, he knew because in the end, Evelyn decided to tell him what she was feeling.
Dumbledore reacted quickly and was able to get there just in time.
So now, here they were in Harry's dormitory, professor Dumbledore has called both of them to talk about what has happened this year.
"I've realized I've put you both in great danger this year, specially you Harry, and I'm very sorry." Again, Evelyn wasn't sure why she was there, since it's obvious he wanted to talk to Harry and not her.
"However, I also know you both have many questions. From what Evelyn told me, she can feel Harry's pain and she was the one who had helped both you and Cedric get alive from that tournament. Thanks to her, we might be able to cure Cedric." He explained further, taking Harry by surprise since he did not know that part.
Has she always been able to feel his pain? Why hasn't he felt hers? Why was this happening?
Evelyn could feel Harry's gaze on her. She avoided his eyes. Not ready to talk about how she has been feeling her whole life.
"It's an easy explanation but I'm not the one who should give it to you. Perhaps this summer you should talk to Evelyn's parents. They will be able to answer all the questions you may have." He paused for a moment, sensing a bit of stress in both of them. "I'll let you two alone. But remember, dark times are coming and it is very important to stick with our friends."
They both nodded, still avoiding each others gaze.
Dumbledore left and there was a very uncomfortable silence. Harry couldn't take it. "You could feel my pain? That's how you knew I needed you?"
Evelyn finally looked at him, but didn't know what to answer, she could only nod.
"Why have you never told me this? For how long have you been able to feel my pain?"
"Ever since I can remember..."
"Does anyone else know?" She shook her head, no.
"I wasn't planning on telling anyone."
"Not even me?" He looked hurt. Why wouldn't she trust him in telling him that important information?
"Look Harry- I was afraid. Okay? All I could think about was what if I told someone this and they would want to- I don't know- experiment with me or something? Or see me as a weapon to get to you?"
Harry has never thought about those possibilities but it's true. She could be used to get to him.
But now that he knows, he won't let that happen.
He came closer to her and pulled her in a hug. "You know that I won't ever let that happen. You know there's nothing I wouldn't do to protect you."
She let the moment sink in, resulting in a few tears to escape her as she hugged Harry back. The realization that Cedric has lost his memories and Harry almost died twice.
Even Cedric could've been dead if she didn't come in time to save them. Now Dumbledore knows her abilities and she was scared to death.
"Hey, I promise. I won't let anything happen to you." Harry said once he felt her crying.
"Everything is going to change though, isn't it?" She asked but it was more of a statement.
Harry wanted to deny it but he knew better. "It will. But that doesn't mean that we'll be alone through the change. You won't be alone anymore. You have me, and Hermione, Ron, Luna and Steph." It's true, Evelyn has forgotten the amazing friendships she made this year.
"And although Cedric won't be his normal self for a while, I'm sure he'll support you too."
She smiled a bit at the thought of Cedric. But then it faded away once she imagined what he must be feeling.
"We have each other. Remember that." She nodded as she didn't want to let go from the hug.
