🦢⋆ ━━ CHAPTER ONE,
When Worlds Collide. At the young age of eight the Satou twins were deemed a terror, with their parents no longer wishing to care for the two they were sent off. Instead, they now lived with their maternal grandmother.
The older woman struggled to keep a hold on the children-- She wanted so desperately for them to listen. That's all she asked for, but she only then received her wish one late evening when she collapsed in the kitchen, right in front of the twins.
Ino couldn't remember what happened after that. Her old mind couldn't keep track of her twins that sat there right in front of her, she only remembered waking up in the hospital. Her heart became warm at the sight of Kosuke and Nana sharing a chair together, asleep and resting on one another. It was a sweet sight. One that she held onto.
But as the years passed she noticed a change within them, especially Kosuke. At the age of thirteen the boy began to look so much like his father, it almost scared the older woman.
Satou Kosuke's eyes were cold, his expression was always that of stone. The boy always kept an eye on his twin sister though. There would never be a time where he didn't know her approximate location if he wasn't near her. But he then noticed a change in Nana, sooner than his grandma ever did.
He tried his best to keep his hold on Nana, but it was difficult after she had met two of her new friends.
Nana would never tell her brother of the time she was nearly attacked by a group of older teenagers. She had made it out with only a red mark on his cheek and her hair all roughed up.
The Satou girl was saved by two other boys; Baji Keisuke and Hanemiya Kazutora. She didn't know where they came from or how they knew she was there, all she knew was that she was grateful for them.
The incident had proved as a reminder as to why Kosuke never let her roams the streets on her own, but now she had friends. They acted as her guard dogs at times, never letting her be on her own for long periods of times. They always knew if she was alone.
"How did you know where I was this time." Nana didn't have to turn around to know that they now stood there behind her. "Was it Kosuke?"
A small laugh came from Baji as he walked to her left side with a grin. "Doesn't matter, you know not to go on your own like this." The boy shrugged, not answering her question.
"It's just a park, ya' know." The girl remarked. "Not like i'm just walking around."
Kazutora walked to the girls' other side and nudged her arm, looking at her from the corner of his eye, "But you're still out."
Knowing that she couldn't change their thoughts on the matter she just shook her head and let out a sigh. Nana could never win when it came to them.
"Whatever... Well, since you're both here, what are we gonna do today?" The girl asked the pair next to her with a bored tone.
Baji let out a hum, "How about we introduce you to Mikey and the others?"
"Mikey?"
"Mikey!" The dark haired boy confirmed, taking ahold of her hand and pulling her off the playground. "Come on, I know exactly where he is!"
Without having much of a choice, Nana followed after the two boys who led the way. She didn't know where they were going, or who Mikey was.
"You gotta be kidding..." The girl mumbled under her breath, gazing up the stairs that led to a shrine. "A shrine?"
Baji tugged on her hand once more, carefully pulling her the stairs. "This is where we meet up everyday."
"Everyday? So this is where you two disappear to?"
No answer came from either boy as they traveled up the last few stairs. In the distance Nana could see the small group of people that formed around next to the shrine.
With squinted eyes, the girl attempted to look closer and spot the different boys that she had never seen. Surprise pulled at her features when noticing her brother standing amongst them.
"Kosuke?" The name left her lips when standing in front of the group in between her best friends; her head now tilted and staring at her brother.
The boys' expression matched her own as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Nana? What are you doing here? And with them?"
Nana looked at her best friends with a shrug of her shoulders, "They're my friends."
Silence took over the group of boys as they looked back and forth from the twins-- nobody knew what to say. Nobody wanted to disturb the pair.
Until one of them spoke up, "Is this your sister?"
The Satou girl looked in the direction of the voice and her grey colored hues landed on a blond boy. There was a small smile spread across his lips as they met eyes; a small spark ignited within her chest at the contact. She was at a loss for words.
"Yes, she is." Kosuke suddenly butt in, now standing in between the pair. Not liking the eye contact that lingered. "My twin sister."
With an annoyed expression, Nana lightly shoved her brother aside with a huff. "Enough of that, Ko. So, who is who."
Before the silence could get any worse within the group, Baji had forced everyone to introduce themselves to the girl.
Draken; a taller boy than the others, with a scary looking face. Mitsuya; who looked the most approachable one out the group. He was kind at heart, the girl could tell. Pah-chin; She liked his demeanor once he spoke, a small smile slipped from her expressionless facade.
And then there the last one, their leader. Mikey; the boy had clearly dyed his hair blond. His eyes were dark yet full of life. He intrigued her deeply.
Satou Nana had entered Mikey's gravitational pull the second she stepped foot in the group, it was inevitable that she would get entangled with his inviting stare. The boy was completely enamored with the girl at first sight.
