Anne Marie's guide on how to be punk rock

HIgh School??

Being a 16 year old, obviously i'm in high school but having to relive the first day of junior year over again sucks . but..., i recently decided i'm going to change my identity . Being the anne marie who listens to 90s hits and reads a little too much i'm often bullied, so there is no way, absolutely no way i'm going through this again . i mean, might as well right? i've been wanting to change forever, and now that i have my chance, i can.

I Walk out of a mall i drove to just a couple miles from my house, bags in my hands. The first step to changing from a tacky nerd to a punk rock hottie calls for a whole new wardrobe , so i grabbed a couple of black skinny jeans, a flannel, and bands tees along with this  cute leather jacket. Now all i need to do today is actually listen to the bands on my t-shirts. I've never been familiar to this whole care free , blast your ear drums out kind of personality before , so internet has been really helpful these few days. I groan once i'm reminded My first day is tomorrow, i'm under so much pressure to fool everyone at this new school. 

Soon I get home and quickly hang up my new wardrobe , stuffing nothing but a 5 subject journal in my bag. I used to be prepared, but now i've got to learn how to be opposite . Once i'm done i pop my skull earphones in my ears, scrolling through green day on spotify  until i find something interesting. I see 'boulevard of broken dreams' and start to play it since it seems pretty punk rock to me . Who knew? i kind of like it. i play it couple times before moving on to 'holiday' and then blink-182's 'when i was young' .

I look at my clock and realise all this jumping and head bobbing  has been going on for almost and hour.

ello lovelys this is just a weird beginning thing idk i dont think this book is off to a good start but whatever suck it and read it because I DESURVE TO BE HAPPYYYY
