It's been a few days since I changed my number again.. I even filed a complaint and Mr. Min told me that the stalker used disposable phones and email accounts.. each discarded before leaving any traceable clues.. thus the stalker's identity remained a mystery.. I haven't gotten any messages since then.. So maybe the stalker gave up..
The lift doors got open and I walked towards my cabin.. I glanced at Jungkook through the glass mirror and saw him watching me.. As soon as our eyes met he winked.. Since when did he start to get so flirty.. I walked into my cabin and resumed my work.. Soon I heard the knock on the door so I looked up and found Jungkook leaning on the door.. He walked in.. "I'm sure you experienced many inconveniences in Jeon Enterprise when you were on heat" he said..
"I just know that the door was locked" I said.. "The medications Mingyu brought you were from an omega employee" He said.. I stayed quiet so he continued.. "Actually.. It's the responsibility of CHRO to refill the omega kits and keep data on Omega rooms.. She manipulated the documents" he said.. I remember that girl.. she was being flirty with him.. "I actually made her resign" he said.. I was surprised but didn't show it.. "Ok" I said though I was extremely happy from inside.. "The new CHRO has already been appointed" he pauses.. "but I haven't assigned her the responsibilities related to Omega's health yet.."
He keeps on staring at me while I do the same.. "I want you, as the Luna of my pack, to take on that responsibility" he said. Silence filled the room... "I'm not Luna anymore, Jungkook" I replied.. "So please stop—" He cut me off.. "No matter how hard you try to avoid it, my moon.. you are the Luna.. and no one can change that fact.." He placed his hand on the desk and leaned forward... I noticed his pheromones were intense... He wasn't angry, but he wasn't happy either...
"I won't pressure you to take the responsibility" he said.. "I just felt that as an omega yourself.. you would understand the needs of the Omegas and that might help them... I'll accept whatever your decision is.." he turned and left the room.. I sighed heavily and leaned back in my chair.. I didn't want to be selfish and ignore Omegas health.. but once I took on those responsibilities.. people would continue to see me as the Luna of the pack.. It wasn't something I hated, but I didn't love it either... Besides, Jungkook and I are not back together...
Time passed by as I was on a call with my employee at Celestia.. addressing her doubts about the refund policy.. I noticed Jungkook talking to Mr. Mingyu before heading toward the lift.. He seemed to be in a hurry... Mr. Mingyu then walked into his cabin, picked up some files, and followed Jungkook into the lift... They left together... I frowned but continued my work.. The conversation with my employee dragged on.. but my thoughts kept drifting back to Jungkook... What was so urgent? I tried to focus but the curiosity gnawed at me... Finally, I made a mental note to ask Mr. Mingyu about it later..
