Camila was already cursing herself a hundredth time for the fact that she decided to sneak home through the forest, so as not to bypass it in the usual way. She finished work too late today, so these few taxis in her small town have long since stopped running.

Again tripping over a thick root, she nearly tripped on the wet ground. There was no time to even dream about a flashlight, the phone had long since turned off due to lack of energy, so the girl continued to constantly bump into or cling to something.

To tell the truth, the atmosphere still suited her taste. There is some light from the full moon in a clear night sky, a light fog and a pleasant evening coolness. Only the insects and the lack of a light source were annoying, but turning back was irrelevant, Kamila had already gone at least half way.

Once again in the last forty minutes, she tripped over a root, it was already beginning to seem to her that instead of roots, giant worms were on the ground, constantly crawling right under her feet, but she was distracted from these unpleasant thoughts by a sudden loss of balance and the rapid approach of thick leaves of a bush to her face . In order not to simply fall on this miracle of nature, she took several steps forward, covering herself with her hands at the same time, she did not want to come to work tomorrow with a scratched face.

Trying to push through the bush wasn't the best idea after all. Camila did trip over one of the lower branches, and this time she did fall to the ground. Nothing serious happened, just dirty clothes and maybe a few bruises. The girl groaned in pain and irritation. Thank God that none of her acquaintances saw this result of the existence of the earth's gravity.

After a few seconds of thinking about how terrible her current situation was, not even the fall, but her condition in general, she slowly started to get up. She sat down on her knees, shook out her sleeves and hair, checked her bag, and after raising her head she became numb for a second, after which she suddenly jumped to her feet.

Something glowed behind the trees and small bushes. From the same direction came the sound of the river.

Camila hesitated. At night, a light in the middle of the forest could hardly mean anything good. It could be some alcoholic or drug addict, or just a pervert who for some reason wandered into the forest.

On the other hand, she had a chance to sneak up and check what was there, and fight back if necessary, but she also didn't know how big that chance was.

The girl began to rummage quietly in her bag. It was almost impossible to find anything there to defend yourself with, let alone blindly, but in the end she pulled out a table fork from inside, which she carried with her to work so as not to eat with her hands or disposable utensils.

Well, if this person wanted to hurt her and was completely sober, they would have done it already, considering the ruckus she made from her unwanted face contact with the ground. In this way, the person was either intoxicated, which put them in a more vulnerable position, or this unknown person did not wish her harm, while having a source of light, and maybe even could help Camila somehow.

In any case, the girl had a chance to escape or at least defend herself. And if she's lucky, even get help. She wasn't going to think about it any longer, although maybe she should have.

The light grew brighter as it approached. It was soft, although cold, and almost not blinding, because it was not very bright.

Eventually, Camila came almost to the tree line, which was followed by a small clearing that reached down to the water. The girl stepped out from behind the last tree blocking the view of the light source, still holding the fork in her hands, and froze.
Just by the water, with her back to Camila, a blonde was sitting, she was swinging her legs, lightly touching the water with her fingertips. Her shoes were just to her right. Glossy shoes with lace.

She was probably the last person Camila expected to see at such a time and in such a place. However, this was not what she paid attention to in the first place. The first thing that caught the girl's eye was the source of light, namely two snow-white wings behind the unknown person. They emitted snow-white light.

It took Camila a few seconds to realize what she was seeing.

She was seeing Angel.

The most beautiful Angel in the whole world.
