Gyuvin stood in the middle of his new apartment, a modest two-bedroom unit in a quiet Tokyo neighborhood. He marveled at the view from his small balcony, which overlooked a serene park dotted with cherry blossom trees. The moving boxes were still scattered around, but he felt a sense of relief and excitement. This was his fresh start.
"Alright, let's get to work," Gyuvin muttered to himself, rolling up his sleeves. He started unpacking the essentials, setting up his bed, and arranging his kitchen supplies. The process was tedious but grounding, helping him feel more at home in this new city.
Just as he was about to take a break, there was a knock on the door. Gyuvin opened it to find a tall , and blond young man standing there, holding a plate of cookies.
"Hi, I'm Ricky. I live next door," the neighbor introduced himself with a friendly smile.
Gyuvin's breath caught. Ricky was even more captivating up close, with his bright eyes and warm expression. "Hey, I'm Gyuvin. I just moved in."
"Welcome to the building! I thought I'd bring you something sweet to make your first day a bit nicer," Ricky said, handing over the plate.
"That's really kind of you. Thank you," Gyuvin replied, taking the plate. "Would you like to come in for a bit?"
Ricky glanced at his watch. "I wish I could, but I have to run some errands. Maybe another time?"
"Sure, that sounds great," Gyuvin said, trying to hide his disappointment. "Thanks again for the cookies."
"Anytime," Ricky said with a wink before heading off.
Gyuvin closed the door, feeling a mix of excitement and frustration. He knew he had to be patient. Ricky seemed friendly, but clearly, he wasn't going to be easy to get close to.
Later that afternoon, Gyuvin made his way to the east side of Tokyo to check out the new café he had taken over. The quaint little place was tucked away on a busy street, its exterior adorned with lanterns and blooming sakura flowers. He unlocked the door and stepped inside, feeling a surge of pride.
"Wow, this place has potential," he said aloud, envisioning the changes he wanted to make. He spent the next few hours taking stock of the inventory, cleaning up, and making a list of supplies he would need.
As the sun set, Gyuvin sat at one of the café's tables, sipping a cup of tea he had brewed. He felt content but aware that a lot of work lay ahead. The thought of Ricky crossed his mind again, bringing a smile to his face.

Meanwhile, in Seoul, Gunwook sat alone in his dimly lit house. The air was heavy with grief, and the silence felt suffocating. He clutched a framed photo of Yujin, his late boyfriend, tears streaming down his face.
"Why did you leave me, Yujin? How could you just go like that?" Gunwook whispered, his voice breaking. "We had so many plans... so many dreams."
He placed the photo back on the table and buried his face in his hands. The pain of losing Yujin was unbearable, and on top of that, his mother's medical bills were piling up, adding to his stress.
A knock on the door interrupted his sorrow. It was his friend, Jiwoong.
"Hey, Gunwook. I brought some food. You need to eat," Jiwoong said softly, entering the house.
