After they were abruptly ejected from the lower levels of the castle, it became very clear that Wolfram would not be trusting Sebastian, Y/N and Snake to be left unsupervised by him for the remainder of dinner's preparations. It took a little longer than Sebastian would have liked to prepare the meal, however, Wolfram's even more scrutinous glare upon the three servants only made Y/N and Snake more nervous about messing up. Snake was also a little more down for obvious reasons, having been separated from Oscar. The footman understood why it had been done, but asking for permission or giving him some kind of warning would have been nice. Y/N tried to be as reassuring as she could be for him, but it was obvious that Snake would most likely remain in lessened spirits until he was reunited with his precious friend. He also refused to speak to anyone, not having anything to say unless it was translated hisses, it would seem.
Once the meal was prepared, Y/N was released from Wolfram's watchful eye to go with Finny to see if they could get Ciel to eat. Once again, the two loaded up a tea cart and wheeled it down the vast hallways. It was packed with several servings of Baldo's "Chef's Special Dinner" which Sebastian heavily edited the recipe of to make it edible. Y/N knew there was no way in Hell Ciel could eat all of this, but Finny had insisted that they take such a large portion. The poor boy didn't want his young Master to feel even the slightest bit hungry when he was done. However, like Y/N had predicted, Ciel was only able to eat a single portion of the meal before he was full.
"There's lots more!" Finny beamed as Ciel finished what was left on his plate.
"I'm full," the Earl muttered as he handed his empty plate to Y/N.
"That's good," the Lady hummed as she took his plate from him. It was a miracle they had been able to get him to eat anything at all. Much less also keep it down.
"But you've only eaten one-"
Glass shattered. Before the glass from the plate or window could even hit the ground, Y/N had pulled her gun from the hidden pocket of her dress. Finny didn't need to hear the plate break against the window, though, for he had sensed its gaze as well on the back of his neck.
Standing in the window, its massive shadow creeping down the floor, was a Wolfman. He was massive, even bigger than Wolfram himself, and covered in thick muscle. Belts and fur adorned the monster. And two lifeless, soulless, yellow beady eyes peered into the bedroom.
There was a heavy silence as the Wolfrman peered in through the now shattered window. His long claws tapped against the metal skeleton of what was left of the window. Y/N raised her pistol to the Wolfrman's temple. A low growl could be heard reverberating through the room. Y/N swallowed thickly as her gun remained steady. "Finny... Protect Ciel..." She murmured. Slowly, the Gardener moved closer to Ciel's bedside.
The Wolfman let out a blood-chilling snarl and burst through what was left of the window's glass and through its metal skeleton as if it was wet paper. The sound of six consecutive gunshots rang through the air as Y/N emptied her chamber onto the Wolfman. Two shots hit right above its eyes, two hit its shoulders, and the final two sank into its thighs. This however, did not stop the monster as it charged past Y/N and towards Finny and Ciel.
"Young Master!" Finny cried as he threw himself over Ciel, shielding the Young Earl with his body. The nauseating sound of fabric and flesh being torn apart could be heard as the Wolfman took a swipe at Ciel with his gigantic claws, which instead dug into Finny's back.
Instead of screaming, Finny went completely still. "That hurt..." He muttered. Suddenly, Finny's eyes no longer shone that welcoming teal. There was something else. Something much darker. The gardener kicked back with all that he had, his leg slamming into the Wolfman, sending it flying back through the room, right into Y/N. The Lady latched her arms around the beast's neck, holding on for all she was worth as she dug her teeth into the hairy flesh of its neck.
