No, Xavier Sanchez was not normal. He didn't believe that he was normal himself. Actually, particularly himself.
He had a good life, frankly. In terms of wealth. Just in terms of wealth. His father had a high rank in a bank in which he worked at, and his mother was earned no less, as a doctor in the hospital. His grandparents were in the business industry and were quite successful. They had left behind great wealth when they passed. So, with that money, Mr and Mrs Sanchez decided to move somewhere better for their two sons, Xavier and Joses. So, they went all the way from Denver to Los Angeles. Xavier was 14, in high school already, so they had found him a new middle school. "Avon Road Harvey Winslow Middle School".
It was fine, really, in elementary and middle school. Life wasn't hard. It wasn't easy. His father had brought him to many, many grand places, where there were people wearing big suits and a grim face. No one hardly smiled until they saw somebody, and then, it was only a brief laugh. There, he had many chances to meet new people, meet them and talk. Which boosted his confidence. A lot.
Xavier was confident to arrive in a new place, meet new faces, follow a new tradition, whatever was new, and stay fine, ready to embrace all those challenges he faced. He has survived one, just one, year in this new school. What's next?
Life in Elementary school was easy. Now high school? Not so much.
