"happy birthday darling" i heard those words fall from his lips and i nearly have an orgasm in my mind, i mean of course it's just a happy birthday but it came from him

"thank you mr.vinneti , i didn't know you remembered" i said in my normal tone even though i was very happy that he had bothered to remember

"of course i did , how could i forget" he said before he shifted and we started the session

AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER

i was about to leave my session but mr.vinneti stopped me

"do you have plans for your birthday?" he asked and i peeped that he's nervously playing with his fingers

"yes actually , my friends are throwing me a dinner " i said but i noticed the look of disappointment on his face so i quickly said

"it won't be that many people , just them , their boyfriends and my mom , you can come if you'd like and you can even invite your wife" i said , i don't know why i invited his wife it just came out

"we can see if she's any real competition" voices in my head spoke but as always i tune them out

he slowly nodded and agreed

"where is the dinner" he asked me

"ruth chris at 8 , don't be late and don't show up empty handed " i said plainly , i hated that i find it rude to show up anywhere on someone's birthday empty handed

"alright i'll see you then" he said and i left

greyson's pov

"alright i'll see you then" she responded and walked out of my office

amira was something else that's for sure , i mean of course i've had patients with her disorder but she's ... different

my thoughts drifted back to when she had just invited my wife and me to her birthday dinner , that's if my wife is home

eventually i leave the office and go home , to my suprise my wife is in the kitchen sitting at the counter on her phone

"hi handsome" she looked up at me and smiled

i tried to return the smile but i know it didn't reach my eyes

me and her hadn't been happy in a while but i do still love her so i'm trying to make it work it's funny how i'm therapist and i fix peoples problems but i can't even fix my own marriage

"so i have this client and todays her birthday and she invited me and you to her dinner at 8 wanna come with me" i asked her scrolling through emails on my phone

"oh how old is the kiddo turning" she asked naturally she assumed it was a young girl because he hadn't mentioned any recent older patients

"she's not a child , she turned 19 today" i said to her as i looked up and i noticed how he face scrunched a little but it faded quickly as it came and she nodded

"alright i'll go get ready" she said and walked upstairs

i went to the guest bathroom to shower and get ready because it was already going on seven and i don't wanna be late to her dinner
