LUCIFERS POV

After we finished watching the wizard of oz, Y/N picked up the remote and went to Netflix and searched up "SpongeBob Squarepants" and the TV went to season 1 episode 1: 'Help Wanted'

They started to sing a long with the intro song

"Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?

SpongeBob Squarepants!

Absorbent and yellow and porous is he?

SpongeBob Squarepants!

If nautical nonsense be something you wish

SpongeBob Squarepants!

Then drop on the deck and flop like a fish!

(insert cool flute riff solo)

After the theme song stopped playing, the episode started.

I really enjoyed the episode, the story of the show was really goofy, which i liked.

We watched a couple more episodes and all of a sudden, it was lunch time. The bells rung to let us know it was time to eat again.

Maybe i should've told Y/N about the breakfast, lunch, and dinner bells, because they got startled pretty bad.

"What was that???" they ask. I rest my hand on their shoulder.

"That's just the lunch bell, darling. I have one for Breakfast, lunch and dinner." i say, i laughed.

"My apologies, i forgot to tell you about them" i add.

"Oh! I thought that was like a drill and someone was coming to murder us-" Y/N says.

I chuckle. "No. no one would dare to try and harm me and everyone else living in this mansion. You're safe." i reassure them.

"Now! Lets go eat!" i say. We both get up and they follow me to the dining room for lunch.

Y/N'S POV:

Me and Lucifer finally arrive at the dining room. We sat down in the same seats we sat in this morning. We stayed quiet, absolutely not knowing what to talk about.

Then Nova came in. seeming tired, but still chatty.

"Ughh! My hands are so sore!" she says. Also sitting where she did this morning. Across the table from me and beside lucifer.

"Hows the sewing coming along, Nova?" asked Lucifer, trying to strike up conversation to break the awkward silence.

"Its going alright. I have just a few more shirts to do and then i'm all done." she replies. She spoke again.

"How was your guys' morning?" she asks, as she took her plate lid thingie off of the plate. Her meal was just some ramen noodles. I guess she wasn't all that hungry. Surprising since she was literally just working on many projects a few minutes ago.

"It was good. We watched some TV." I said. She grinned at me. What was her deal?

"What??" I asked. I didn't understand what was going on anymore.

"Nothing" she replies, shaking her grin away. "What did you guys watch?" she added, Trying to change the subject. I let it slide. But I was going to find out sooner or later.

"We watched SpongeBob Square something, and, y'know... uh.. It's charlie's favorite... um..." Lucifer said. It was funny to see him struggle to remember the titles.

"We watched the Wizard of Oz" I interrupted, helping him remember. "And you probably know what the other one was" i added. She nodded. I finally take my plate topper thingie off my plate and there was a peanut butter and jam sandwich (if you are allergic to peanut butter.. Uh.. then just have a jam sandwich, idk)

"I absolutely LOVE the Wizard of Oz! what was your favourite part, Lucifer?" Nova asks. she looked towards Lucifer, giving him her attention for his answer.

"i liked when that one guy hanging himself in the background." he said. i choked on my food. maybe the question 'what was your favourite part?' wasn't a good way to start a conversation.

"there isnt anyone who hung themselves-" Nova began, but then realized who he was talking about.

"Lucifer, that wasn't supposed to be part of the movie, he actually hung himself-" she told him. i wasn't surprised on the fact that he didn't know that, i was surprised that he noticed it. i knew about it but i could never find it in the actual movie, so i just thought it was fake. maybe it wasn't.

"so it really was in the movie?? every time i watched the movie after finding that someone hung themselves on set, i could never find them in the actual movie-" i looked at Nova, now giving her my attention, i looked at her with a confused face.

"i don't know, they couldn't have edited out because its a 30s movie, it's quite old." Nova said with a confused tone.

(for people who are confused, back in the day when we had tapes instead of websites that stream movies, the movie directors would cut the tapes and put them back together after filming the whole movie to make clips because in the 30s we didn't have computers or editing apps/websites.)

"yeah, you're right. maybe someone edited it in more recently, but i haven't ever really looked into it." i continued. i continued eating my sandwich and just listened to mostly Nova talking about her interests, mostly sewing though. and so did lucifer. i guess he wasn't a talker. im a listener myself, i just never really have anything to talk about.

(why did this chapter take so long to come out? i completely forgot about this story to be completely honest. honestly i kind of forgot the whole series even existed lol. but you better enjoy this one because i do NOT doubt that the next chapter will take forever to come out. honestly i forgot that i actually have people who read my stories.

but anyways, question, should i start a harry hook x listener? ive been recently into descendants and GOOD GRIEF THAT MAN IS LOWK FINNEEE 😻)
