Yeji has always thought she was a fair person. Always gave second chances, always gave the benefit of doubt, always took a deep breath and counted to ten before reacting. Now her job could be... frustrating.
Which was to be expected, she was a teacher working with rowdy 17 and 18 year olds. Regardless, she was considered to be one of the more 'down to earth' teachers, she was young, pretty, confident in her abilities, and she listened to her students just as she would a friend. Of course she'd only been an actual teacher for two years, no longer a student teacher, it was a great accomplishment for her to even have a full class this year.
She was teaching seniors this year which was both a blessing and a curse, though most of the student and near all of them were easy, did what they were asked and had fun senses of humor, well.. except for one student in particular.
Shin Ryujin.
She was... difficult in a way that at first, made Yeji greatly pity the girl... She was always quiet, kept a hood on, headphones, always buried into a notebook or sketch book.. The first semester was easy with her though, despite being reserved, she always completed her work.
But then one day she just stopped, her behavior changed and she became loud and obnoxious, making crude comments and jokes, refusing to do work at all... And as happy as Yeji was to see her come out of her shell, this 'new Ryujin' was nothing short of infuriating.
The last straw was when Yeji had been out for the day, having a good friend substitute for her, only to be left with a very unpleasant note about Ryujin's behavior which was to be described as; incredibly inappropriate and unfit for a classroom or school environment. The note was double sided and went into more detail about some of the things Ryujin had actually said and done, all of which did not amuse Yeji one bit. She knew she should have just reported this and let the principal deal with her, but Yeji couldn't help but feel like she had to do something about this herself, from what she'd heard from other teachers, Ryujin only acted this way in her class.
So when the next day came, she pulled the girl aside before class started and told her to stay after the day was over, that she needed to have a word with her. Of course this only got a scoff and shove from the student who took her seat after rudely dismissing Yeji. However she wasn't going to let the trouble maker walk away like she always did.
As the time passed, the bell rung and the last class was dismissed.

"Ah, Ryujin? Stay here for a moment,"
Yeji spoke up, giving a smile to the girl who had already started packing her things.
With a roll of her eyes and a heavy sigh, the student dropped her backpack back to the floor and took a seat again, watching as her teacher closed the door after the last student left. Yeji had taken a seat in her own desk now, crossing her arms over her chest as she stared at the girl, leaning back a bit. A silence fell over the room before Ryujin finally spoke up, breaking the tension with an irritating groan.

"What, you want to give me a speech about something?"
The student rolled her eyes, staring up at the ceiling as her head tilted back, not paying attention to her teacher. Yeji let out a small sigh, trying to remain calm.

"Well, actually. There are a few things I am going to address here with you."
Yeji forces a smile, taking off her glasses and setting them aside, picking up the note she'd kept from the substitute and clearing her throat.

"First I wanna talk about how you are acting in my classroom. This note is filled with complaints of your behavior and actions from last Friday, a few of which include, but are not limited to; inappropriate comments and gestures, talking over the substitute teacher, refusing to do any of your assigned work and, to put it nicely, making a fool of yourself."
