You feel your head pounding heavily, you brush your hair from your face to notice yourself sweating profusely. "Hyunjin?" You called out quietly, with your eyes half open and mind still dazed, you swing your hand around trying to feel for a figure. Gently patting the mattress you sit up suddenly when it felt empty. "Hyunjin?" You question again. I swear he was sleeping with me? You had a flashback to last night.

Still feeling light headed you patiently wait for Hyunjin to return back after loud commotions occurred on the first floor. Your paitence was finally rewarded when the door creaks open slightly revealing a clearing stressed Hyunjin. "Hyunjin? What was all the yelling about?" Hyunjins frustrated look became relaxed when he noticed you. "Hey... why are you still awake y/n?" He sits on your side of the bed gently brushes your hair and cupping your cheeks in his hand. He smiles watching your sleepy expression. "Well i heard yelling so i woke up, is everything alright?" You lied to further question him. Hyunjin sighs quietly, "Yes everything is alright, go to sleep darling" he lays you back down and pulls the blanket over you. He reaches down for a kiss to the forehead "Sleep now" "You're not coming to sleep?" "Ill be there in a second, I just need to wash up real quick okay? I won't take long" you nod slowly resting your head back on the pillow. You wanted to keep yourself awake until Hyunjin returned to reassure yourself but you couldnt help the sleepy feeling forcing your eyes shut.

You sigh heavily, I guess I don't actually remember him falling asleep last night. You attempted to drag yourself to the side of the bed, blinking a little as you wait for the dizziness in your head to stop. All the blood lost caused you to feel lightheaded, you held onto the headboard of the bed and slowly heave your body towards the door. "Hyunjin?" You call again hoping for a response. Surprisingly you got no response, you had at least thought maybe one of the others could've said something, the mansion was empty. You became more woke when you noticed the strange atmosphere, you turn to the first room once you had made it down the stairs. Still trying to regain consciousness you scan the lounge, thats weird..by this time everyone would be in here somewhere? Still calling out everyone's names you make your way to Felix and Changbins room "Guys?" Again meet with silence. Even the maids were nowhere to be found. It felt wrong, you knew Hyunjin was getting comfortable with you but not enough to leave you in the mansion alone right? "Hyunjin...? Where are you.." you started to lose hope when you heard a rustling sound coming from the kitchen. You felt chills run through your entire body, you were convinced that you were alone. Your hands frantically frolicking trying to find something as defense, once your hand had found its grip on a umbrella you slowly creeped towards the kitchen door. The rustling stops and so does your movement. You inch ever so close to the door, thats when a small ginger cat jumps out at you causing your butt to become in contact with the tiled floor. Groaning in pain, the cat turns its head letting out a small purr. You sigh in frustration. How'd it even get in here?

Something had lit up in your mind, you turn to the main entrance door to see it slightly ajar. It mustve came through here, but why would the door be wide open? As you continued wandering you were only left with more questions. 20 minutes had already passed and not a single soul had been found. You glace over at the fromt door again. Remembering the strict rules Hyunjin had put in place for you. "You couldn't escape even if you tried to, this house full of vampires" Although in this moment there was no one in the palace. You grind your teeth trying to come up with a solution instead of this dumb idea you had, but nothing came to mind. You simply hurried up stairs and dressed in a beautiful midnight blue dress Hyunjin prepared nights before that you had refused to wear purely out of being petty. Searching the kitchen drawers you found your weapon of choice, a rolling pin. Probably not the smartest option but it was something. You took in a deep sigh looking back into the mansion once last time before taking your first steps out of the mansion alone. Uncertain you look around expecting them to be there playing a prank or testing you, but there was nothing. Taking in the fresh smell of the forest air, it had just rained. The look of the wet tress and blue sky felt so freeing. A feeling you hadn't felt in a while. Tall oak trees for miles and only the sounds of tweeting birds and light wind. Freedom. It was so open for you. No vampires to threaten your life if you had left that very moment, complete freedom. They were missing but you're free. But is freedom what you really want? Or did you want him.

IM SO SORRYYY. Thank you to the people who kept reminding me to update im very sorry i had completely forgotten about this story and also slightly lost the motivation to continue writing it. I am trying to finish it off so you guys don't have to wait for updates anymore but i still want to produce the story at my best ability so i am sorry for the wait. I am also very busy so its hard to sit in one place and write it in good detail.
