Taylor Swift was in the middle of her third-period class, teaching her 10th graders about the metaphors in The Great Gatsby, when she heard loud whispers from the girls sitting in the corner of her classroom.

"Oh my god, did you see how hot Mr. Kelce was at last night's pep rally?"

"Dude, I'd happily let him bend me over in the PE supply roo-"

"Girls! Shut it down. Now. This is an English class, not some hormone-filled locker room," Taylor Swift snapped, glancing over at the giggling girls in the back of her classroom. She couldn't help but feel annoyed as she watched them whisper and ogle over the PE coach, Travis Kelce. It wasn't the first time they'd done it, and she doubted it would be the last.

Taylor cleared her throat and continued the lesson, trying to regain her students' attention. She had always been passionate about literature, and seeing her students take their studies seriously meant everything to her. She couldn't let a crush on their annoying PE coach distract them from the importance of the lesson.

The rivalry between them had started the first day she had worked at the school when she refused to let a student off the hook quickly just because he was a football player. Coach Kelce was livid.

"Taylor, you're new here, and I get that you're enthusiastic, but you need to understand that this is a top-tier sports program. We're not here to play games," Coach Kelce barked as he paced the hallway outside the faculty meeting room.

"I understand that, but literature and language are just as important as sports. These kids need to learn to express themselves, think critically, and appreciate the power of words," Taylor retorted, her voice unwavering despite the subtle tremor in her hands.

Their clash in the faculty meeting had set the tone for their relationship. The two of them had instantly butted heads, and it seemed like they couldn't agree on anything since then.

As the school year progressed, their rivalry intensified. Taylor encouraged her students to participate in the academic decathlon, while Coach Kelce relentlessly trained his team for the state championship. Arguments between the two spilled beyond the faculty meeting room, escalating to heated exchanges in the teachers' lounge and even during parent-teacher conferences.

Today, as she was trying to focus on her lesson, she couldn't help but notice Travis walking past her classroom, his broad shoulders filling up the doorway. Her heart fluttered in her chest, and she felt a strange mixture of anger and desire course through her veins. She tried to ignore it, but she couldn't deny the physical attraction she felt towards him. It was infuriating.

Right after the bell rang, and her students filtered out she heard his voice.

"Hey, Swift. You got a minute?" She could feel her stomach drop.

"Um, hi, Travis. I'm a little busy right now. I've got paperwork to finish before I can leave," she said, not trying to hide the sarcasm in her voice.

Travis raised an eyebrow. "Oh? I thought you were just standing here."

Taylor's cheeks flushed red. "I was just gathering my things, Travis. I'm sure you have better things to do than stand there and insult me."

"I wasn't insulting you, Swift," Travis said, stepping closer. "I was just saying that I heard that you have a bit of a... thing for me."

Taylor crossed her arms, angrily tapping her foot. "Puh-lease. You wish," she saw him glance down at her chest and simmered angrily. "If I did, it would mean that you'd have an actual girl in your bed and wouldn't have to use your imagination at night."
