To create something new
Excitement fills me
As simple as a doodle
Or complex like a tree
Watering a seed
Watching it grow
I feel like a parent
Not sure the plant knows
Drawing a character
The sketch not thought out
Looks like scribbles
But feels real to me now
Writing a poem
Even though I said I hated them
Feels more relaxing
Than trying to decipher that mayhem
Creating nearly anything
Fills me with joy
Creating feels better
Than trying to destroy
