Part 2 - The "Cure"

Venom, formerly Spider-Man, swings through New York on webs, racing towards the meteorite's location. Arriving at a concealed lab, it crashes through the floor and makes its way to the meteorite's holding cell, breaking it open. As Venom grasps the meteorite, Peter and the symbiote, now fully bonded, experience the hive's memories and a surge of power. This was the "cure" the symbiote had mentioned. But there was a missing piece. Before they could search for it, Connors and Miles burst into the lab, responding to the triggered emergency systems. Venom senses them and growls in anger, the symbiote's rage intensifying as it sets its sights on Miles.

"YOU! Always getting in the way! Tried to separate us!" Venom growled and roared, glaring at Miles & Doctor Connors. "You tried to destroy us after we helped you!"

"Miles screamed, trying to reason with Peter. "Peter! Please listen to us. You need to get that suit off. Don't you see what it has transformed you into?"

Dr. Connors, terrified by the monster the symbiote had turned Peter into, murmured, "No ... It's too late. That is its true form. Peter and it have bonded perfectly. This wasn't supposed to happen. That's why it chose him—they were a perfect match."

"It's too late now. With the Meteorite complete, we will heal the world and cure Harry once and for all. But you, Miles, are a threat to that plan," Venom roars. It smashes the lower part of the cell and seizes the second shard of the meteorite. Merging the shards into a single piece, Venom stores it in its chest. With a menacing glare at Miles, Venom lunges at him, breaking through the wall and landing in the train station.

Venom stands menacingly, circling Miles and pointing a sharp claw at the frightened Spider-Man. "You tried to separate us, tried to push us apart in that forest. You were just jealous, wanted this power for yourself. The only one worthy of this is Peter." Venom grins, its sharp claws glinting as it sets its sights on Miles. "Peter Parker and the Symbiote are no more. There is only Venom! And there will only ever be Venom."

With a symbiote-enhanced punch, Venom slams Miles into a train full of people, splitting the train in half. The fight rages on as Miles grows increasingly weaker. Each punch from Venom leaves bruises, cracks bones, and snaps tendons. Venom uses Miles like a punching dummy, slamming him through walls. With Peter as its host, Venom's strength appears invincible, overpowering Miles at every turn.

"You used to be our friend, our partner in crime," Venom says seductively, moving its sharp tongue against Miles' jawline. "That is why we will give you a chance. Accept this gift we are giving you. Let the symbiote make your desires come true, heal your wounds, and open your eyes."

"NO! Peter, please, listen to me. This is the symbiote talking! These aren't your desires; it's using you like a slave. These are its desires, not yours!" Miles shouts, desperately trying to reach Peter as he fires electro blasts at the goo covering Venom's body. However, the mass quickly regenerates, healing the wounds and rendering Miles' efforts futile. Venom places a sharp claw on Miles' mouth, and the venomized mask recedes, revealing Peter's pale face. Tendrils replace his once red veins, his eyes are completely black, and his teeth are slowly transforming.
