Episode 4: Street date

We went to Manila after one week of being at the beach. I'm happy that i had quality  time with my husband.  And i enjoyed it for the first time, after  being  married for a year. Me and Cedie are now in the house, in our separate rooms, and tomorrow i will go to college and my husband Cedie will go to work.
The next day, i woke up and went down the stairs.  To eat breakfast, Manang Yssa came up to me  and told me that my car had broken. When i heard that, I suddenly asked: Manang if she had 500 pesos. In her so I could go to school, Astrid  why do you need 500 pesos? She ask? Manang yssa, i need 500 pesos so I can go to college  via Jeep. Oh, she said, "Are you sure you're not uncomfortable  riding  the jeep? Manang yssa asked? Worried. Yes, Manang  yssa, I'l ride the jeep  going to school.  It will be fun. And  besides, I miss experiencing riding   jeepney. Ok, Manang yssa said," and she gave me 500 pesos. I'm from a rich family  but both mom and dad  were raised  by strict nannies when they were  still young. Manang Yssa and my mom were raised by Manang Yssa's mom.  She learned to ride the Jeep when she was a teenager. Manang Yssa and Mom were like sisters.  So when mom had me, she and i went to the mall by riding Jeeps.  Without bodyguards following us, I learned how to be independent  without   asking  for anyone's help.  But I still have a car and a driver with me. But now I have to ride the Jeep. Because  my car broke, I got so excited  to ride the Jeep again. I said good-bye  to Mang Yssa.  And went. To school. Five hours later, I decided  to surprise  my husband  by going to his office.  So now I'm right here. In front of his office.  And went inside.  I told Cedie's secretary  not to tell Cedie I was in the building because I wanted to surprise  him and Cedie's secretary. Went back to her work.  And i knock to cedie  office  when my husband  said to enter i did. Cedie was surprised  when she saw   me in her office  standing  there. Smiling  at him.  She asks me, rid what are you doing  here? Die asked, "An visit to my husband," i said. "Who drove  you here? die asked again, I rode the jeep  and  went here,  said". Die face  got surprised. But before  she reacted, i said that my car got broken and i had to go to school  via Jeep.  Die  have something  to say, but i hush and cover die mouth and said go back to work  i will stay here. And wait for you . I said die replied  ok.
After   few hours, 7 p.m.  die  and I getting ready  to go  home . But I got an idea. When we  went out to his office  instead  of going to his car, and drove straight  home. I decided  to go to fire exit instead.  Die got surprised  and followed  me. Why are you going to the fire exit? Cedie ask? confused.  Im going home, but not  riding  your car..i said, "What my husband  look at me again, your riding the jeep again to go home, right? Die ask? Yes, I answered. But you don't have money to pay.
I have money to pay for the jeepney ride home, I said.
Where did you get the money from? My husband asked. Thats a  secret,  Cedie,  said."  I started  walking toward the fire exit. And my husband was still following  me. And i stared at him, and I asked, Why are you following me. I dont  want anything bad to happen to you so. I will be riding the jeep  with my husband, I said. "Wait, you will be riding  the jeep  with me? " I ask  For clarification  my husband  just  nodded  and smile. I started dragging  cedie.  By the hand. And we went to jeepney  stop. When  i saw the jeep  that i have to ride  home me and cedie rode it. Cedie  got surprised  by how jeep  work 30 minutes  later. Cedie  muscular body were squeezed. Because  other people  is riding  the jeep. I look at him. His sweating alot, and he dont know what to do. So i took my handkerchief  and wipe it. Suddenly,  cedie got surprised  and i whispered  to him dont let go of my hand ok . This is your  first time riding  the jeep  so matter  what happen dont let go of my hand.  30 minutes  an hour later. Cedie  and i went of the jeepney. Because  we have to walk for 30 minutes   before going home.  Few minutes  later i saw  sa street  vendors  selling  different  kinds of food a got excited  dragg  cedie.  And i  started picking  random  foods. And started eating . When i look at my husband.  She look at me weirdly and i continue  eating not minding him.
Rid, my husband  called . Hmm, she ask, is that food safe to eat?  My husband asks: Then i ask Cedie to eat half the food i have on the stick. Die was hesitant  at first, but when she saw me munching it he finally tasted  it.  After awhile, Cedie started grabbing a stick. And started  eating.  After awhile, I got full. Then I stopped eating, now I'm watching  my husband eat street food fondly. When he saw, stop eating, Cedie, what's wrong? Why aren't you eating. Cedie  ask? While munching  his six sticks of qual egg. I'm full, thats why I answered. My husband stopped eating.  When I saw it, my husband  took out his wallet, took 5,000 pesos out of it, and gave it to the vendor. I got

Surprised  and suddenly dragging him, my husband looks at me weirdly.  And he asks, What is wrong ? Cedie  you can't just give  5000 pesos  to the vendors, I said." He asked why, because some vendors don't have change in that kind of money . Ok, I said we can't just leave him without  paying . Where not leaving him, I answered . Let me pay the vendor, I answered. Then  we went to the vendor and I paid for the food we ate. And I started picking another  load of food, and Die looked at me weirdly. My husband  saw the vendor putting the food I picked in a separate  styrofoam.  After that, the vendor gave it to me, and i took it and said good bye and took Cedie hand  and we went home.
