A/n pov:

"Is he.... umm jungkook alright?"

All turned their head towards the door from where the -male- voice came from.

"Obviously not" Irene said. Bitterly scoffing mentally and rolling her eyes at the silly question the elder male.

"Oh. I'm sorry for his behaviour" that's all the person could say.

"That's all you can say? After all these things? Only one sorry? Do you even know how we all are feeling? Well. How will you know about it when you're the father of that person who is the reason behind all the happenings." in a venomous voice Irene stated.

"What? Dr you're crossing your limits" hissed Mr Kim getting offended by irene's words as he went to jungkook who looked at him, curious.

He had never witnessed his iri noona saying something like this to any elder let alone when she is in her duty time, it was shocking and odd for him. He stared at the man in front of him and he assumed him to be his boss's father as Irene said but then it hit him.

Why Irene is behaving like she knows them before this?

He just let that thought slide away as the elder person stood in front of him with a sad expression painted on his face, but surely something is off but jungkook couldn't understand what is it.

"I'm really sorry for whatever my son did, I'm ashamed of his behaviour but can I request something son?" Asked the elder man aka Mr Kim looking at jungkook eyes holding something strange but before jungkook could answer him he again started.

"See jungkook, I know what my son did is totally wrong but if you file any case against him then the career will be ruined right? So why not let that thing aside and move on from that-" he stopped when he felt a hand on his shoulder as he turned back and saw Yoongi standing there.

"Oh Yoongi. You're my son's bestfriend right? You're also close to Jungkook's-" he again stopped in middle when yoongi signaled him to stop by placing his finger on lips.

"He is my bestfriend Mr Kim but he can never be more than kook. And no matter if kook is related to me or not, what your son did is crime and he will be punished. Kook knows nothing about it so better you talk to us about all this. Jungkook should stay away from this.

And about the career. Nothing matters more than kook to us right now. We don't care if anyone points their finger on your son because of the case"

Yoongi completed his sentence and was about to go out of the room to inform about everything to Jimin and Jin, but stopped hearing Mr Kim.

"Wait for some time Yoongi. Dr I will be glad if you let us have a moment, alone" stated Mr Kim indirectly telling Irene to go outside but Irene protested.

"Mr Kim no matter what your problem is but can't disturb our patient like this so better you go outside and do your thing. The patient should rest now." She said to Mr Kim and turned to Mr Jeon and blinked her eyes in assurance and said again,

"Jungkook will be discharged tomorrow after some normal checkup and Mrs Jeon, come to my cabin after some time."

That's all she said and signaled everyone else to go out of the room and she herself went to jungkook and sat in front of him.
