He was my dream guy. As a child I always wanted to be with a prince, a man that knew what he wanted in life and wasn't scared to do whatever he wanted. To me he was a prince.

On the next Monday he asked to meet me after school. I agreed and we met in the abandoned café. No one was there, we sat down on one of the many countertops. He put his hand on my thigh again but this time he put it higher than before. It never bothered me that he wanted to touch me. When you have a feeling of love towards someone, you crave their touch. He never seemed to make me uncomfortable, he was rather sweet with it. We spent hours talking about school and our interests. We spent the next few weeks like that. Meeting after school, going for walks and meeting each other's friends.
He never seemed to be interested in having a relationship though. I decided to ask him about it.
Nova:
Why haven't you asked me to be your girlfriend yet.
Roman:
I'm ill, you know that Nova
Nova:
Just because your mind isn't in the right place does not mean you can't be serious about a relationship.
Roman:
I don't want to talk about it with you.

I left it there, I didn't want to upset him. He was quick to anger. I was always petrified to upset him, I didn't want him to leave me.

One day after school we went for our usual walk, except I had a friend. My friend brought a boy with aswell so it wasn't awkward. We wanted to go somewhere private. We walked and walked until we found a store room. We snuck in and found big cushions used for high jump. He gently picked me up and placed me on one of the cushion piles. I was wondering if this was when he was finally going to ask me to be his girlfriend. He came closer to me, standing in between my legs gently moving his hands up and down my thighs. He cupped my face with his hands moving slowly to the back of my head. It was silent, but it did not bother me. It was romantic, he was romantic.
He pulled me closer and kissed me. His lips moved in a rhythmic way. When he kissed me everything went silent, the voices in my head calmed and I knew I was safe as long as I was between his arms.
