Returning to the village was only the first step on their journey. With the crystal safely in Lisa's care, they made their way to the harbor where they were to take a ship to Lisa's homeland. The journey there was arduous, and they had to overcome numerous obstacles - from steep mountain paths to raging rivers. But their determination and their growing bond helped them to overcome all challenges.

The days passed in a monotonous rhythm of walking and resting, and the two women got to know each other better. Lisa told Roseanne about her childhood in a land of magic and mystery, while Roseanne shared her passion for art and her dreams for the future. Roseanne learned that Lisa is descended from a long line of warriors whose names can be found in several folk songs, and that her relatives live all over the world. Lisa learned about the tragic accident in which Roseanne lost her family. They were on their way to a royal festival. Roseanne was not feeling well that day and stayed behind at the family home.

Roseanne looked up at Lisa briefly with shimmering eyes, then turned her gaze back to the floor. "I often feel like my twin sister Alice is still with me, I feel like she's behind me, but every time I turn around I'm reminded of my loss." A single tear escaped from her eye and slowly rolled down her cheek until it finally dripped onto the ground.

Lisa moved closer to Roseanne and carefully put her arm around her shoulders. She didn't say anything, but the gesture warmed Roseanne from the inside out. After a moment's hesitation, she laid her head on Lisa's shoulder and drew new strength from her.

"Alice was more suited to the aristocratic life than I was, she was in many ways the counterpart of me. While I couldn't be far enough away from the hustle and bustle, she was flourishing in the countless events we attended. The people loved her, I loved her. When she died, a part of me died too."

Lisa tightened her grip on Roseanne and turned to pull her into a tight embrace. Roseanne buried her head in the crook between Lisa's shoulder and neck and soaked up her scent, which had a calming effect on her.

These conversations brought them closer together and laid the foundation for the trust they developed for each other.

One evening, as they camped under a clear starry sky, they talked again about their hopes and fears. Roseanne confessed her uncertainty about whether she was up to the task, and Lisa reassured her that she had already proven how strong and capable she was. At that moment, Roseanne realized that her feelings for Lisa were more than just friendship - it was a deep, fervent affection that she could no longer deny.

Six days later, they finally reached the harbor. A large ship was waiting for them, ready to take them to the unknown land beyond the sea. With one last look at her homeland, Roseanne boarded the ship and prepared for the next stage of their journey.
