I did write this excerpt. And it was purely my imagination unleashed. I did not have names, I had a basic story, but really it was not intended to be a full on story. Until I thought about it. And I thought it would make a great story. It will be written from the boy, Zach's, perspective. I've never really written anything from a boy's point of view, and I believe this will be interesting. Please, read the excerpt and the author's note at the end, as its contents was essential to the creation of this book.
As I am writing the official version, I have realized that the story I have just created is not exactly how the excerpt goes. Whether or not I chose to change it or add those parts in, is yet to be decided. But I do believe, that both versions would have (or will) turn out wonderful.
I hope to write a second book, a sequel, just a short one, maybe. It would probably be about the two of them years after. It would be based more so on the present times of the excerpt. The book I'm writing now, Collision, is what Zach is talking about that happened. If that makes sense.
But even in the excerpt, it talks about a time even before Collision. Therefore, I am also writing a prequel/spin off of what happens when they are younger.
