Tiny Teddy Bears🧸[𝕋𝕒𝕖𝕜𝕠𝕠𝕜]

Part 7

Just like that many notes were passed who's reply always used to come in the form of Tiny Teddy Bears.

Sometimes carrying flowers, chocolate, small trinkets etc. Taehyung was beyond excited but after a week he felt like he is doing the same mistake again. That is putting his hope in someone who has shown no signs of advancement towards him.

Last time he thought Mr. David was the one expressing his feelings through these gifts. But in reality Taehyung was being delusional. Because he never saw him doing anything particular with his own eyes, just like now.

This time the situation is slightly different but not that different. But this time Taehyung doesn't want to take any chances with his heart & makes a bold decision.

He writes a note that he wants to meet the person behind the bears in person, face to face. And just like that his heart is crushed once again. Because after reading that specific note, there was no reply in return. Neither in the form of a letter nor a teddy. Even after four days have already passed.

Right now Taehyung is crying hysterically clenching his note in hand. He is sure that the other person has read his letter because there is a lingering scent of sandalwood on it. Something Taehyung noticed in the past one week is the gifts & letters always used to carry a faint smell of sandalwood on them. Probably belonging to his admirer.

*hic* *hic* "w-why don't y-you want to meet me in person. Y-you claim to l-like me but you n-never show your face. Just w-why, why."

He was all alone in the college parking lot, crying his heart out like a little kid who lost his favorite toy. Even after the first two days he kept his hope alive but now he can't anymore. He is tired & frustrated. He is sure his heart didn't ache this much when David shouted at him in front of the whole college, as it's hurting now.

Taehyung hears footsteps approaching behind him. He quickly rubs his face, hiding any evidence of him crying. But no one is a fool enough to not notice his red puffy eyes, & runny nose. Clear evidence of his breakdown.

"Mr.Kim?"

Taehyung turns around to face his biology professor, Mr. Jeon Jungkook. Jungkook is startled to look at Taehyung's face, his own face showing sadness on it.

Taehyung immediately bows to him apologizing for staying back at the parking lot when the college was long over, with all students already gone. He looks at the paper in hand, clenching it hard then tossing it in a dustbin nearby with an angered huff.

"Sorry to bother you sir. I'll take my leave now."

He was taking his cycle but halts when the professor calls him. A slight hesitation in his voice is clear. But he wants to say it. "Taehyung... I...wanted to say something important." Jeon said, his eyes fixed on Taehyung's facial expression. "If not now then it will be too late.... I w-want to say that... ..      ... Don't forget to bring your pet tomorrow."
