Chapter 40

POV: Alexander Blackwood

It's been 2 weeks since our last intimacy with Aurora .The next following day after the intimacy we had , Sophia , Aurora and my mother went to shopping the following day. It's cost me to stay at the penthouse alone. I won't lie but I was bored. As for Liam he's been clingy and annoying. Everything has been great . I been spoiling Aurora alot even though she doesn't like it. But what can I say , she is my lady. My mother went back to Italy as she said she missed her house and next when she comes back she want grandchildren.  This lady though

We were sitting on the breakfast table. I looked over at Aurora as she was looking pale. "Mio tesoro are you okay" I asked her with concern. She nodded her head. " You haven't touched your food yet. " I said. " no I'm not hungry. " she said as she got up from the table. She stumbled back a little. I quickly stood up as I went to her and held her to balance. " You are not looking well. Let's to see a doctor". I said. "No Alexander. Let's go to the office already " she quickly said and took her belongings. I followed her outside and locked my penthouse. We got inside the elevator and pressed the parking lot button. The elevator came to a stop and we both got out.

We reached the car as I opened the door for her. She quickly climb in and I closed the door. What wrong with her. I asked myself as worry overwhelmed me. I climb into the driver seat and I started the engine and drove to the company. We arrived at the company and we both got out. We climbed the elevator and its came to a stop. We got out. " I will see you after work okay " I said as I pecked her lips. What surprises me more was that she didn't respond. "Your cologne smells horrible " she said. "But its your favorite cologne " I said to her with confusion. " well not anymore.  You should change -"She quickly covered her mouth as she rushes throughthe hallway to the bathroom. I followed her and waited outside the door afterall this is the women 's bathroom.  She came out and looked at me surprised.  Before I could ask her what happened she beat me into it and said "I'm fine  Alexander.  Maybe I'm having a stomatch bug". "Let's go see the doctor then " I said with worry.  "No " she said sternly walked away . She is really acting weird. So guys I'm planning a surprise for Aurora. I actually brought us a house actually it's a mansion. I want to propose to her and ask her to move in with me in the mansion. Shhhhh! Done say anything.

Well we haven't loaded the furniture as I want her to organize the mansion. The mansion is actually under her name not mine. I have a meeting at 12am with the Mansion Specialist, the lady who sold me the mansion. Time passed and its was 12pm. I took my car keys and went to check out on Aurora after she assured me she was fine even though I dont believe her. I went out. I climbed the elevator as I pressed down the parking lot . The elevator came to a stop and I got out. I went over to my car and drove off. I arrived at the Gage & Tollner restaurant where I was meeting the lady. I parked my car and got out.

I got inside the restaurant and saw her sitting on the table as she was sipping red wine. "Mr Wilson" I said as I extended my arm for a handshake . She stood up and accepted my handshake and said "Mr Blackwood..please have a seat". I sat down and we got straight into the business. She told me that they would send papers to my office and I will go through them.blah blah blah." It's a pleasure doing business with you sir" she said as she stood up and took her belongings. She walked away. I couldn't help but smile I been planning the surprise before Aurora got into that crash. I also stood up as I placed the bill and walked out of the restaurant. What if she says no? What if she says it's too early. What if she breaks up with me? I asked my self this questions as I felt nervous. Wuuu! I never thought I would be nervous. Anyways tomorrow its Saturday and I'm taking her out. I climb inside the car as i drove off to the building.
