A New beginning?

Two months later

Zahra's POV

It's been a two months in this marriage and one thing that doesn't change is Walid's typical mother-in-law behaviour, yes I discovered he is an OCD paitent because all he does on holidays is cleaning, I mean why? We literally took a leave after two months and I wanted to watch some Netflix but this man took out his whole wardrobe and guess what, A billionaire is wiping off houses of poor spiders.

"Walid you seriously took leave for this?" I asked while passing him the disinfectant spray. He hummed in response since he was too busy destroying homes of those poor little insects.

"You know what, I will go with humza and Aiman" I said while walking away from him and I felt him grabbing my wrist.

"Go where?" He asked while pulling me towards him.

"FOR A MOVIE, SINCE MY HUSBAND IS INTERESTED IN SPIDERS MORE THAN HIS WIFE"

He started rubbing his ears in annoyance and said, "You know Zahra, you could've simply asked me that you want to watch a movie"

"Yea, as if you listen to me while cleaning" I scoffed and walked away from him as he started to pack up his cleaning stuff.

Well it's been two months since I found out about ariha and now we meet her almost after every 2 days. She is such a sweetheart and whatever horrible things Walid's mother did to her traumatized her to the core.

We tried to help her with things and I guess everything is back on track for her now. As for me I still didn't met my parents and no they tried to contact me either. Imran bhai and Jannat bhabhi often visit us and he also informed me that dad is doing well too.

I guess all this was meant to be, and Walid is not a bad person, we don't talk much ever since I told him 'since when we came on flirting terms' I do regret my words because I miss that side of him, he started maintaining his distance from me, but he cares for me....alot.

We went on shopping few times and all he would do is listen my yaps while nodding his head like a obedient pet, but something about him makes me feel valued, the way he understands me in my silence. I don't need to speak about my needs infront of him, I lost my watch that day and it was him who noticed it before me. He would turn off AC usually ever since he figured out I'm sensitive towards cold, and if I ask him why he is doing all these he would reply with "you are too irresponsible" or "Bill aap pay karengi?" (You will pay bills?) Yea a Porshe owner is worried about electricity bills.

I cooked some Paneer makhani last week and he eat it without a single complaint but as soon as he left the dinning table Aiman told he hates paneer more than anything but he didn't argued.

He knows me more than me just by his eyes..

"We will go for the movie get ready" and with this announcement nawab sahab left me alone in the room and that too he left shirtless.

You know last week, he got late for a meeting due to ariha's annual day and it was raining so he entered the office in drenched white shirt and the every lady in the working sector started drooling over him. Like the audacity of these witches to drool over my husband huh. Anyways that day I discovered the fact that I like him, I mean I won't deny this anymore and it's not like I'm doing something haram it's my husband after all.

Yea I've accepted this that he is my husband, and giving this marriage a chance is what I'm considering these days, I want to announce this officially so no one is drooling over him.

"Umm Zahra are you sure you want to watch this movie?" I asked her while glancing towards the poster, I bet this movie is boring..
