2,500 years ago, a monk that goes by the name of Selena was running away from the monsters who want to destroy and conquer the earth.
However, Selena, wouldn't let that happen so she threw the pieces of Aura in the sky and located them into different places around the world.
One of the monsters tried to destroy Selena but she was saved by the Morphin Masters and took her to another dimension for safety. The monsters were trapped in an ancient temple.
Thousands of years later, a group of teenagers around the world found some type of coin with a strange group of warriors.
A few days later, reports of strange monsters were unleashed somewhere in China.
5 teenagers were teleported for safety into a strange Martial Arts training center. Selena, the same one from thousands of years ago, appeared to them and explained that she chose them to fight the creatures thousands of years ago before they were born.
She teaches them the power of Aura and why is it important to use them for good instead of evil
She gives them Morphers and weapons to become Power Rangers Lightning.
