Inhale - Exhale

Before the grand exhibition, she snatched silenced pistol from the droor below her bedside, kissing the tip and smiling for the tradition. She throws it in the bottom zipper of her bag where it remains concealed.

Maria tossed the loot over and out the window. Falling down two stories, it could've alerted the birds sleeping about the trees, yet for the fallen storm, just recently lulled, the thick grass became a damp cushion.

Instead of jumping down with it and risking getting caught by one of Fathers men, she headed straight for the snake pit like she had previously planned. Her bouncers alike quadruplets all looked up at her at in sequence at the sound of her pattering black kicks across the carpet stairs. The house was rather homey than lavish.

"Where ya headin off to dressin like dat young lady" She looked up ahead and saw the main officer of the group 'Chuck' appear out of the main living room as his giant strides took up all attention, his face was quizzical and humorous, and her dog Atlas following him from behind. The guy was non realistically huge at 6f6 and Maria had assumed he already took steroids on top of it all.

"Chuck, are you really going to comment upon a woman's choice of attire without an apology?"

A half grin had passed as soon as he blinked, "Excuse me for my bruteness, but I wouldn't expect more than half an apology after that little stunt If I were you." He says with a straightened spine.

"Atlas! Come here boy!

Maria exagerrated out a sigh as she cocked her head up while feeling the fur of Atlas that had met her side, as if she was searching for god up in heaven, or at least the ceiling. "Im sorry, Chuck, I really am, headed to the classical show now held by one of Dads friends, Rick, it occurs every week, and I know I don't really attend it, but today they celebrate". The overseeing Chuck looked deep for something of sincerity, but all there was, was a very well composed smile "I don't state my info. It's just watching entertainment. Im not jeopardizing my safety whatsoever."

Chucks blond eyebrows lifted impossibly high as he mocked in disbelief whilst leaning into the staircase handle. In a flash, he flicked his arm over to one of the men she did not yet know with a click of the tongue, "Keep the cheeky Rabbit in check will you". The worker nodded stiffly and quickly caught up with Maria as she had already begun drifting off with the grandest smile she could possibly muster. In the background she could her the claws of Atlas clanking against the stone floor before Chuck shouted "Atlas, Mutt! Here!".

Looking at the mans smaller frame in front of her, she was filled with certainty her plans couldn't fail now.

"Oh, and also!" Chuck piped up, your Father has left for Ibiza, and he won't be back till next week I estimate".

Maria nodded in recognition, it was really uncommon, what was most surprising was that it was only 1 week and not 3.

She was in the passenger seat of the silver Ford, pinching on the seatbelt while the man beside her started punching in the address. He was clearly new here to not know where the facility was she thought. She took time to relax and discreetly stare him down through the visor and mentally mock his cluelessness for what she was about to do to him as he pulled back in reverse. Most certainly, Maria had never seen this newly employed guinnea pig of fathers, she concluded, inspecting the dirt brown hair that went down to his shoulders, his face appearing plausibly Mexican to Maria.

She could only hope Father hadn't lured him over to work in code for a Canadian dollar exchange.

Meandering with her eyes, she was reminded of the isolation from society she lived in, it had a specific blessing to it, only composed of mammoth like trees and distant mountains. Maria shot back towards the modest looking wooden cobble house with tall grass covering the bottom. It was deceptive just like her Father, a millionaire. Someone she loved but hated.
