Sorry, I took too long. This one is quite big, but I hope you like it!

Mia went about her routine as if nothing had happened the day after the news about her father appeared in the Daily Prophet. Her friends tried asking her about the article, but when they realised the lack of openness to talk about it, they decided not to push it.
"So," said Mia, eating her toast and completely ignoring the looks in her direction. "Pink Nightmare will not only be judging us but the teachers as well?"
"Merlin, I'd love to see her try to assess Professor Minerva."
"I hated how they spoke of Lupin on this," grumbled Jamie, tossing the paper aside. "So bloody rude."
"He has grown onto you," said Mia lightly, turning to him. "Hasn't he?"
Jamie didn't answer.
"He's... Alright, I guess," muttered him after a while. "Been writing to me and been very nice, sending me books."
Mia smiled softly.
"I think it's nice," she shrugged. "From what I could see, Lupin does seem to like you."
"Maybe," he agreed softly. "Or, I don't know."
"Maybe he's just being polite."

In the end, Umbridge did indeed start assessing the teachers as the school's newest 'High Inquisitor', which for the four of them was just a great excuse to investigate the imaginary rebellion they feared so much and were so sure was happening.
In potions class, everyone was not-so-happily surprised to see Snape handing out hypothetical grades for their OWLs for one of their potions.
Archie and Illy got an O.
Jamie and Mia got an E.
But, of course, Snape didn't seem very happy about giving out these grades to them, so they all thought it would be wiser not to say anything.
"I've never seen a teacher give a good mark so bitterly," commented Archie, putting food on his plate. "Shouldn't he be happy we're doing well?"
"Snape doesn't know about happy," argued Mia, snatching a piece of potato from the boy's plate. "He must think it's something to eat or put in a cauldron."
Illy laughed, and Mia shrugged.
"The highlight, though. Was my brother getting a D," commented Jamie with a small laugh. "It stands for dumb, which he is, but even so..."
Everyone laughed out loud.
"Seriously now," Illy began again amid the laughter. "I can't believe we're going to lose the Dull-Mouth grading professor Trewla-something."
"You both have to tell us how it went afterwards."
Mia and Jamie agreed.
"Actually, it wasn't all bad not dropping out of her class," Jamie commented. "It's all so nonsensical that we don't have to worry about making sense."
Mia agreed with a laugh.
"She doesn't make the slightest sense," agreed Mia. "But she's a sweetheart, though."
"I like her and love the fact that she believes any crap I tell her."
"She does. See? That's very helpful for someone with a creepy bond and a girl who can't dream right," Jamie quipped.
