Walking into the loud sounds of the people clapping they smiled. Walking to the front their parents waited.

Reaching them they stood with them. "Good afternoon everyone. Today was a special day for my family as well as the Yoons. We celebrate the new life of our children as they are now married. And for that, I would like to toast to my beautiful daughter Nabi and my son-in-law Yoon Jeongjan!" he singled everyone to raise their glass as they all took a sip of the fine wine.

After their speeches, they sat down together.

"Congrats y'all!" Mingyy said approaching them both. He hugged Nabi, "Thank you Mingyu, who would've thought I would get married before you!" he rolled his eyes. "Yeah yea wtv," she giggled sitting back down."Well, you'll find yourself someone one day,"

"Yea hopefully but not today. Today is about you so enjoy it,"

"Thank you Mingyu," she said smiling at him

"Congratulations Jeonghan got you a difficult one in your hands," Nabi rolled her eyes

"I see that but I don't think it will be that bad," they laughed

A couple of hours went by when a sever approached, Nabi.  "Mrs. Yoon sorry to interrupt but there is a lady outside asking to talk with you," Nabi looked at the lady confused.

"Umm okay I'll go look for her could you describe what she's wearing?" she said turning her placing her drink down.

"Oh umm, she was wearing a long white dress. She just outside I don't think I've seen inside the place," she stated

"Hmmmh okay I'll go see thank you," she smiled at her. The lady bowed and walked away.

Walking outside she saw a lady standing there wearing a long white dress slightly touching the ground and her back facing her. Nabi approached her, "Excuse me Ma'am you wanted to speak with me?" she asked.

The woman turned around to face her. She instantly recognized who it was. She could never forget the person who was never there.

Her mother stood there facing her with a proud smile while she stood there in shock. No emotion showed on her face but that. "Nabi gosh look at you honey so beautiful, all grown up and even married!" she said as she hugged her. Nani pushed her away making the older woman stumble back.

"I'm sorry Ma'am but you shouldn't be here,"' she said in the calmest tone. "Oh come on Nabi, please don't act like you don't know me," she said Nabi just looked at her in disbelief. "Fine," she said crossing her arms. "I don't know what you're doing here but you need to leave. I don't want you here at my wedding, today is my day and it's too valuable for me for you to randomly show up and ruin it,"

"Nabi don't speak to me that way I'm your mother respect me!" She scoffed at the mother. "MOTHER!? Please you just some lady that left my father, sister, and me, but it's not like you were ever there,"

"and respect is earned not given and you've earned nothing from me,"

"I DESERVE ALL YOUR RESPECT AFTER ALL
I'VE DONE FOR YOU!" Nabi shut her eyes as she screamed.

"And what exactly have you done?" she said opening her eyes

she stood there waiting for her to respond. Nothing but crickets...

"I thought so,"

She scoffed. "Really? Is this the little act your dad put for you? To make you and your pathetic little sister believe I'm the monster?"

"Don't you dare speak about them!"

"Oh yeah and what are you going to do huh?"
"You're still the little scared girl who doesn't know anything,"

"Trust me I know the person you are,"

Footsteps from behind her came louder as her mother spoke. "Well, I know nothing but seems like to me you're the real monster here. Such a nightmare my wife and her family must've gone through,"

Jeonghan appeared next to her speaking in her defense. "So this is your so-called husband?" her mother stood up crossing her arms and looking up and down at him.

"Yea I am Yoon Jeonghan to be exact and you are?" he asked her.

"Her mother now will you excuse us we are discussing a family matter," she said

"Welp, you are in luck I am family! Her husband so it's a pleasure to stay here with my wife," Nabi was just there listening to the two as he placed his hand around her waist.

"Jeonghan it's fine we were just talking," she said placing her hand on his chest and pushing him slightly. "Mhmm sure seems like it, I mean all I heard inside was screaming coming from out here, so seems fine,"

"Nabi are you just gonna let him speak to me that way!" she looked at her mother and then up at Jeonghan with a smile

"Sorry but if you could please leave you have zero business trying to barge in where you don't belong," she turned back to the women.
She scoffed as she turned around, but before walking away, "I'll be back. See you soon..."

Nabi let out a big sigh turning around to walk back in. Jeonghan followed right behind her walking next to her. "I didn't know you were mixed," she turned to him. "Yeah born in New York and moved here when I was 10," she said as they stood at the door. "So you know English? That's cool,"

"Yeah, but it's nothing. I'm surprised you didn't know this. I would think since we are married you would've searched me up or something,"

"Pffff yea right but am I sure you didn't search me up for information?"

"No I was just saying you are Yoon Jeonghan so I just thought," he looked at her smiling. "Well no need for that anymore from now on we are married and will figure each other out later on," she nodded at his words and walked back in.
