Jungkook's pov

I was in the middle of a meeting with important clients. The room was filled with the murmur of voices and the sound of papers. I glanced at My phone vibrating on the table, its screen flashing with an incoming call.

Ignoring it, he focused on the presentation at hand, knowing well that it was his mother calling.Minutes later, his phone buzzed again. This time, his assistant and secretary, Hwan, approached him discreetly and whispered, "Sir, Mrs. Jeon has been calling repeatedly. It seems urgent."Jungkook sighed, his irritation evident.

"Ignore it," he instructed Hwan. "She's probably just insisting I come home for dinner again."Hwan hesitated before nodding, understanding his reluctance. He returned to his desk, but the phone rang once more. This time, Mrs. Jeon had called the office directly. With a resigned look, Hwan picked up the call.

"Hello, Mrs. Jeon. Yes, I'll let him know." He walked back to the meeting room and softly interrupted, "Sir, your mother is on the line. She insisted on speaking with you."Jungkook's expression tightened, but he knew he couldn't avoid her any longer. Excusing himself from the meeting, he took the call.

"Yes, Mother?" he answered, trying to keep his tone neutral."Jungkook, I've been trying to reach you," Mrs. Jeon's voice was firm. "You need to come home for dinner tonight. It's important.""Mother, I have a lot of work-""No excuses, Jungkook. Be there by 7 PM," she cut him off, her tone leaving no room for argument.Jungkook sighed deeply, knowing he couldn't refuse her demand. "Alright, I'll be there."

Returning to his office, he found Mrs. Hwa Young, an old school best friend, waiting for him. Hwa Young had always been a close confidant, and though she harbored a secret crush on him, only Jimin was lil bit aware of her feelings."Jungkook, you're always working," she said, a hint of frustration in her voice. "Can we just go on a trip? You need a break."Jungkook shook his head, his expression apologetic. "I can't, Young. There's too much to do here.

""Fine," she sighed, masking her disappointment. "At least let's go for dinner."He was about to refuse, but she quickly added, "You owe me, remember?"He paused, recalling the promise he had made to her long ago. Realizing he couldn't back out, he nodded reluctantly. "Alright, dinner it is."A smile spread across her face, her eyes lighting up with a mix of triumph and affection. "Great, it's a date then." She mumbled to herself.

Y/N's day began promptly at 6:30 AM with the soft hum of her alarm. She lived in a modest apartment adjacent to the orphanage, making her commute a matter of steps rather than miles. As she sipped her morning coffee, she smiled thinking about the day ahead. At the orphanage, after ensuring the children were up and ready, Y/N gathered them in the dining hall for breakfast.

"Good morning, little stars! Who's excited for pancakes?" she chirped, eliciting a chorus of cheers and laughter. She listened attentively as they shared their dreams and plans for the day.During a break, Iseul visited, bringing fresh flowers and a mischievous grin. "Planning something special for Mia's birthday?" she teased, arranging the blooms in a vase.

Y/N chuckled, "Of course! We're going to turn the whole place into a fairy tale castle!"Later, while overseeing afternoon activities, Y/N joined the children in a game of tag. "Catch me if you can!" she giggled, racing around the playground. They squealed with delight, their energy contagious.

Back home, over dinner with Iseul, they swapped stories and shared dreams. "One day, we'll take all the kids to the beach," Y/N mused, stirring her pasta. Iseul nodded, "They'd love that. You're like their real-life fairy godmother, you know?"As the day wound down,. With a contented sigh, she prepared for bed, knowing tomorrow would bring new adventures and more moments of joy.
